Dark Love
Thunder reverberated through the ancient stone castle rattling pane glass. Tracy couldn't sleep through the racket of the summer storm. Highland tempests were strong and fierce but quickly spent, and the land would explode in color following in the passing storm's path. Pushing back the heavy quilts, she managed to pull herself out of her warm cocoon, heading to the bathroom. A modern convenience Tracy insisted on being built in the 15th-century monstrosity she called home.

Faded Green Dress
It was a perfect spring day—clear blue skies with a slight breeze, carrying whiffs of orange on the tantalizing wind. Tammy stood at the top of the jagged cliff overseeing clear turquoise waves rolling gently across the ocean surface before kissing the cliff’s base below. Every year for the last twenty years on the same spring day the seventh of May, Tammy came back to this spot.

Superstition Mountains
Social distancing has been challenging for me but, not because I miss the socializing or visiting people. I want to see my family more definitely, but this virus shutdown has been difficult because I can’t go exploring any haunted locations. I love haunted and mysterious sites with history and I miss that being in lockdown. So, I have been making a bucket list of haunted places in Arizona, I want to visit once I can leave my house again.

Regrets
I have experienced some very painful and difficult times in my long life. My ex was a verbally abusive alcoholic that abandoned me and his two teenage sons. I had no money, no job, no home, and no car. If Wayne, a friend hadn’t stepped in to help, I’m not sure where we would have ended up. As it was, I had to put my baby Donna down. Donna was a pure-bred Rottweiler born and bred in Germany. I’m not a dog person, but my ex Jim brought her home from Germany and handed her to me saying she was mine.

Haunted Vacation at Solomons Island
I love anything paranormal as well as haunted sites... from a distance. It is totally different when you are the one involved in the haunting. I grew up seeing spirits and over the years I have become comfortable with the thought that I will always have spirits around me. The funny thing is, that I have become so comfortable with being surrounded that sometimes I forget to be open to the energies around me.

Is Seattle’s Historic Moore Hotel Haunted?
The date is June 2019, and the event is a family reunion. My sister, Tracy, and I flew into SEA-TAC (Seattle-Tacoma International) to give our dad a heart-attack (just kidding) on father's day. Unbeknownst to him, we had planned a family reunion as a surprise to him. All his children were arriving together from all over the country as a surprise father's day present (more on that later).

Coffee vs. Chocolate
I love coffee almost as much as I love chocolate. Now, I drink about two cups of coffee a day, whereas chocolate is more of holiday thing. I buy chocolate for Valentine's, Easter, Halloween, and Christmas. Then again, when it's on sale after the holidays, too. I know I can't survive without either of my favorite vices for any length of time.
