The Last Waltz
Martin Scorsese and The Band at their absolute finest. This work encapsulates American music with numerous famous guests. This is the best movie concert because of its crafty filming focusing on The Band's emotions while playing, then cutting to off stage interviews.
Seven Veils of Mercy
A woman of about 32 with a beautiful round face, and pudge nose, dressed in a blue silk dress stood with one of her two sons way up in the top of the town's brick and mortar hightower that overlooked the growing town of Cassilla Tennessee, which was flowing with wagons, music, and wine. Below the cone shaped opening at the top of the tower was a ruby red stained glass. On it was the image of two angels intertwined in one another, wings propelling them, toward a single place of light on the ground with their arms outreached to some indescribable markings in the light. Above, engraved into the cone was a diamond, emerald, and sapphire mandala. The older boy of thirteen stood there in the opening and gazed out on life that way playing out before him.
The Canyon Rings Eternal
Day 1: The Canyon Rings Eternal After some thought and a variety of personal reasons I decided to combine my whole trip to Gunnison to be described as one day of reflection. Each day in the mighty canyon seemed to blend easily into the next, every morning represented a step forward in my experience as an outdoorsman and some painful lessons as a fisherman, not to mention the overwhelming nature within the canyon; all four days blended into one day as far as I’m concerned.
The Yodeling Ranger
The combination of light and deep dark purple hues shot out across the sky as the sun was sinking below the surrounding mountain peaks of the small township of Carazeth located deep in the San Juan mountain range. In the East the shades of purple faded into cotton candy pink and on the outskirts of town rode the one everyone referred to as the Yodeling Ranger. Though he was a shorter man he was a man of stature, as always he rode with his five string banjo strapped to his back, and a big six iron shooter always attached to his hip. The 4th model of Smith & Wessen’s 38. With a 4 inch barrel, nickel plated handle, and side thumbpiece release. Not to mention the customizable iron sight He’d dial in every morning as soon as he awoke. He and his cream coated Palomino would trot around the town before climbing to a peak on a trail he’d made in just a week of arriving into this unfamiliar town so he could bask in the glory of the final minutes of the setting sun and where he’d camped out every night since coming into town.
