The Food Issue
A few weeks ago, CNN10 did a story on the food wasted in America, and it got me thinking about the subject, and what I could personally do to help the situation. I had an idea, but I wanted to make sure this would work for my family. This would require more research.

Beware the White Elephant
A few days before our last day before the Christmas break at work, my boss announced that we would be having a White Elephant party and it was going to be mandatory. This made everyone upset because we are here to make money, not spend it, but the maximum that they wanted us to spend on gifts was $10. I had never really participated in a White Elephant gift exchange before. I had been invited, but I had never gone because I never know what to get for people I know let alone what to get for someone I don’t know. I was excited for this opportunity in which I would have no choice but to go. (Do one thing that scares you everyday, and I was nervous).

Rest Well tWitch
This isn’t the story I wanted to write as my first story back to Vocal after a year of not writing on this platform. I wanted to write a happy go lucky, 10 best Christmas gifts for 2022 list, or the joys of the white elephant gift party story, and indeed, I may still write those, but after hearing about the passing of Mr. Stephen “tWitch” Boss to suicide, I decided that this is the story that needed to be written. I know I am not the first or the last to say it, but we really need to check in with our friends, who seem to have it all together. We never know what is going on behind closed doors or the closed doors of other’s minds. That is the lesson we learn when people who have been smiling, entertaining, and living their lives seemingly out loud decide to take the very permanent solution to a horrible yet temporary situation.

Goodbye Relationship Gender Roles
I was talking to someone not too long ago, and I mentioned how my ex loved drama, and how he felt like if there was no drama in the relationship something was wrong even if nothing was. He needed that to fuel his very fiery nature. He was a very passionate person, and if there was no drama, he didn’t feel that passion. They turned to me and said those words that I think are completely ridiculous. They said “That’s not normally a man thing. That’s usually a woman thing.” This is completely inaccurate. In my 38 years on this planet, one thing that I have learned is that men have the same disposition as women when it comes to relationships.

Beware of Thred Up
I had a lot of clothes in my closet that I couldn’t fit anymore, and they have been traveling with me everywhere I went. It was taking up too much room. I move around a lot, and this was too, and there was always too much. So I was trying to find the best way to get rid of the things I no longer needed.

The Harder They Fall
Jonathan Majors is really starting to become the man to watch. After his beautiful ride on Love Craft Country, we find him in The Harder They Fall, a wonderful take on a Western portraying a real person with a fiction narrative. I wasn’t going to watch, but the star power compelled me.

Why Can't I Find What I'm Looking For?
I’ve noticed that in today’s society there are so many men who complain about women who don’t cook or clean. This forced me to think of how society has changed as a whole for years past. I see quite a few reasons for this change in how we are today and how our relatives lived their lives once upon a time. Go with me a little bit on this and see if you agree.
