Locked Out
This is for the "Reset Your Password" Vocal Challenge which you can read about below. Obviously, the challenge is just a prompt for me as I have been told my writing is not good enough for Vocal Challenges but what the hell, I know I can write if others refuse to see my worth.

Mythamore
Another poem that came to me on a walk inspired the stories and tales my Muse and I love to fall into. I hope I can make it visually like smoke from a campfire but the Vocal editor may not let me do it. I tried to do something similar with my After The Show poem that I wrote with Melissa and you can read it at the end of this poem.

Follow You Follow Me
Introduction I was out walking, which often inspires me to write things and the Genesis song “Follow You Follow Me” popped into my head. It was their first album as a trio, Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett having walked, but I still bought it on the basis of “Follow You Follow Me” and the opening song “Down and Out” but I was hugely disappointed. The rest of the album was just boring, but those two songs showed that there was a spark still there and the rest of their musical career did throw up some surprisingly good songs. As usual, I have digressed and gone off track so now down to the business of what I was going to talk about.

My Fear Of Repetition
Introduction I have now written over a thousand Vocal stories, it is not anything special, Vocal doesn't give you a bonus for it, and it is something that anyone can do. The recent “Haiku” challenges was an opportunity to create hundreds of Vocal Stories , but I think I entered two senryū and five haiku (even though Vocal did not specify that a true haiku requires a season and a cutting word to change the flow of the poem), but I reached that number with my usual output.

Our Shining Beacons Of Reciprocity On Vocal
Introduction This is basically a shout-out to the people who make our Facebook Groups worth being part of and visiting because these people make others feel valued and that then encourages creativity and reciprocity as well.

I'd Love to Fall
This is definitely inspired by my Muse, and the music is "Book Of Love" by Peter Gabriel covering The Magnetic Fields original. It's one that I attempted too, and you can listen to that at the end of this poem. It is truly a beautiful song.

Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde
Introduction My apologies if you thought this was going to be an analysis of the Robert Louis Stevenson creation, it’s not but I am using the analogy to tell you something about my own situation. I have certainly mentioned this in past pieces and hope that it may explain why I am like I am at certain times.

Changing Of The Guard
Introduction The song “Changing of the Guard” from Bob Dylan’s “Street Legal” came on and I started thinking about how things change in our lives sometimes for good, sometimes not so good, sometimes our choice, sometimes not our choice.

XVAR
Introduction The letters “VAXR” came into my head and I thought how could that be a story? I then rearranged them to “XVAR” because I thought that VAXR was close to Vaxxer and that might cause ructions with COVID anti-vaxxers. However, I think everyone who can be safely vaccinated should be vaccinated, I know so many people who have been affected by and frightened by the effects of COVID that I believe I should do everything I can to stop the spread of the virus, but that is way off the target of this piece of fiction. However, the end could be the same.
