Here Comes 2023
Introduction I am writing a fiction which I haven't a clue what is happening and then was in a long lovely conversation with Misty Rae while creating the January 2023 Threads in Vocal+Assist and moving the December Threads to Guides so I have thirty minutes to write a poem for the end of the year.

Life In A Scotch Sitting Room - The Genius of Ivor Cutler
Introduction I first heard Ivor Cutler on the John Peel Show in the seventies, though that was the source for a lot of the music and other stuff in my teenage years. I don't know what brought him to my mind today but I do love his strange, comforting mad old uncle tales and songs, usually accompanied on his wheezing harmonium.

The Confessions Of Dr Dream
This is for the Vocal Full Moon Challenge that you can read about below. The music I have chosen is "It Begins with a Blessing-Once I Awakened-But it Ends with a Curse" by Kevin Ayers from the album "The Confessions of Doctor Dream" which contains the line "Get Out Of My Dream" that inspired this after reading story "The Girl With The 3rd Eye" by my friend Cindy. The story link is at the end of this poem.

I Feel Like I've Fallen Off The Edge Of The World
Introduction This is my thousand and first post, and in my run up to my thousandth post I was excited as I got closer to the target, but now it’s done I sort of feel empty, creatively. I obviously can’t be because I am writing this. I feel like the lorry at the end of Steven Spielberg’s debut “Duel” that goes up the hill and then plummets to its deserved demise onto the rocks below. I really don’t want to end up on those rocks but I feel I am standing on the edge of a creative abyss.

The Millenial PostTop Story - December 2022
Introduction This is my thousandth story on Vocal. I certainly didn't expect this and wasn't sure whether this would be a poem or something more involved. On thinking, the poem limit on Vocal is just a hundred words and at this point, I have already written fifty words and I have not yet begun to say what I want to say.
