The Unfair Life of Natural Glasses.
To understand the skill set for operating a semi, is to understand the beauty of life. We can be very judgmental and compartmentalize people and fit them into our perception based on image. It has nothing to do with strength or rights of passage, but everything to do with determination and proper mindset. The difficult process of driving a manual transmission vehicle has to be one of the most difficult task in our daily lives. Now imagine driving a multi-ton vehicle at the same time of managing weight load from not shifting and causing the semi to roll in the middle of traffic. Now in most cases, the common thought is that no woman can accomplish parallel parking while driving a small vehicle. However, there are a great deal of women that can drive better than some men.

Would You have stayed if You knew the Truth?
Here it is! I don't think that I will get much agreement from the audience, but I am not a firm believer that you are what you attract. Take a moment and let this sink in. Could a person in their right mind, meet an individual and this individual says that I am cheater, abuser, user, and the pit-of-the-Earth and after hearing this; this person would remain in the relationship or continue to get to know this individual? I don't think there is a level of desperation that could be so low. Yes, we see couples on the back end, with both men and women slumber to a codependent level and unfortunately develop a horrible misconception that the abuser is the best situation for them. However, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Are We Competing ourselves out of Love?
And the winner is..... Absolutely no one! No one wins when a relationship ends. Kids, mutual friends, family and the primary parties all lose out in the end. The short term rewards may seem to be pleasing in the beginning, but the long term effects can be damaging in every aspect. Lets take a long look at where the spirit of competition comes from. It all starts from us playing sports at a young age. We are trained to win at all cost. You see the angry parents at the games, yelling at the refs and wanting to fight the coach because their kid is not getting enough playing time. It starts from a young age, and most times our parents are the primary cause of it. This competitive drive is in us because we are taught to win at everything we do. There is nothing wrong with wanting to win, but do we know when to turn it off? Unfortunately, this competitive drive inadvertently lives in us and when we are deep in a relationship with someone we're suppose to love and build with; however we fail to realize that competing against our love ones while secretly pushing them away.

If you have not been to Diesel Barbershop @ Cityline
One cool Texas afternoon, I decided to treat myself to a grooming session which turned out to be a new found joy. Its not often that men slow down and enjoy some of the greater things life has to offer after putting in hard work. Well my trip to the Diesel Barbara Shop in Richardson, TX gave me a new found respect for slowing down. I booked an appointment with Alisha and she took good care of me, but let me tell you about the experience when I first hit the door,

Toxic Mother
Yeah, I said it! Respect my opinion and know that the pain and hurt has to stop somewhere. The lack of accountability is a shame, and we a have to do better instead of hiding the truth and deflecting the pain toward the offspring. Far too many babies are growing up with identity issues and lack of self esteem because the mother has bullied their child based on the simple fact that her storyline marriage did not turn out like a Disney adventure.

The Man with Time
Where are the men who take women out and get to know them these days? This is the number one questioned asked by a woman who falls short of the concept of today's man. Not to be insulting or combative, but with the changing dynamics of dating, one must understand that the mentality of men changed as well. I will explain to why men are selective and what can be done to help navigate in this dating market. No, the dating market doesn't have pee in it, some people need to rid themselves of a piss-poor selfish attitude and HEAL before considering dating. I speak from common experiences. I know there are women out there that do the good things, but in most cases, those women are out there doing good for the wrong guy.

Home of the Thousandaire
When I first moved to Dallas from Atlanta, I thought something was a bit off when thinking about the social scene. I have had the pleasure of living in some top-tier cities during my time and when moving to Dallas, the social life was not even on my mind. The mindset of dating was far from me, because after living close to Los Angeles a few years and Atlanta for ten years and even a taste of DC; I had a slight idea that the quality of women I was going to run into here in Dallas was nothing like I experienced before.

The Richardson PD
Years ago, the group NWA came out with their controversial hit, Fuc# da Police. Many targeted the group to be thugs with no meaning of life and social order. Now with the recent past events of questionable killings and traffic stops across the nation, can we really say that NWA was on to something; or just blowing hot air?

The Body Count Matters
The numbers game will never stop! Women are concerned with how much money does he make, how tall is he, what is his measurements and so on. Men in general care about one thing, and one thing only! How many men you have been with! Yes, the body count number and let's take a dive into what men are really thinking and why we men think it.

The 50/50 Narrative
Everyone has a goal in life. We all want peace and some degree of financial security in life. I really don't think that any wakes up with the joy of working for an employer that is not paying what they are worth. So why even take that same mentality into a relationship? Relationships are measured in so many ways and different variations, that we can agree there is no blueprint way with regard to how relationships should be. There is no written law that says a man is suppose to take out the trash, or a woman is suppose to cook the meals and so on. We pray to find someone who is respectfully in a common concept of partnership and hope that everything works out for the best. My question for the woman living today; if not 50/50, then what are you doing with the money you are making?

Alignment, Selfcare and Connection
I recently saw a post on a new friend's page and there was this word puzzle. At the top, the titled captioned said, " The first three words you see, are your reality". How fitting because the words that jumped out to me were, alignment, Selfcare and connection. Then it all came to me! Those are the things I would like to have with my next significant other! I thought this to be fascinating in so many ways because I saw her page, and beyond her beauty; I saw many things in her lifestyle that are very interesting.
