Lilly’s Plan for Dan
Lilly sat at the window looking out, vacantly filing her nails. It was such a practiced moved she didn’t even notice she was doing it. Her mind was a million miles away. Right back where it all began, ‘and it could not have been further from here’, she thought.

Benny the Bright Light
I didn’t find Benny, he found me. I got out of the car and left the door open while I shut the gate to the house next door that I have been cleaning. I saw a little black and white dog on the road looking at me, but I was exhausted and didn’t take much notice. When I turned to get back in my car, he jumped in and sat on the passenger seat.

Gypsy and The Shadow
We all have a wildness within that lurks in our shadow self. As humans our nature is to want to belong, a sense of community, however we also have a wild side. Our primal selves. That part of ourselves gets tamed somewhat as we grow. Perhaps that is why it is so exciting to befriend a wild animal.

Priming in the Zen and Now
This sounds a bit crazy. After all, who would think of the Rolling Stones as music to meditate to, but I did. I laugh when I look back and think about it. I was probably around the age of 20. The Tattoo You album was released in 1981, so, loving the Rolling Stones, I raced out to get it. Mick, his satin trousers, and bold stage presence, strutting his stuff and Keith, the renegade hippie with a wicked smile and blazing guitar technique were the matrix of the band to me.

A Neurohacking Wish List for the Stuck Entrepreneur
Fiction isn’t really my thing, but hey, I gave it a go. I saw an ad for Vocal’s Little Black Book challenge and a half price entry fee of $4.95 per month. That’s doable I thought. Boom! Add to cart! If I won the challenge a cool $20,000 could be mine. All I had to do was think of a story that included a little black book and someone coming into $20000.

Moving the Stillness
In the natural world, everything moves, right down to the atomic level. Plants grow, the planet turns, tides rise and fall with the rise and fall of the sun and the moon, insects crawl, birds fly, light changes. Nothing stays still in it's entirety.

The Art of Being Transfixed
This reflection was inspired by reading an article from the Psychology Today website, Feeling Intensely: The Wounds of Being “Too Much” by Imo Lo, Psychology Today psychotherapist, art therapist, coach and author of the book Emotional Sensitivity and Intensity. Lo talks about some people having a much greater sensitivity than others and looks at both positive and negative aspects of this personality type.

DAN THE GO TO MAN
Dan was the go-to man. He was a company executive for Ding, a rival of the greater company Whoogle, which was the name on everybody’s lips. When people wanted to know something, they said they would ‘Whoogle it’. This used to piss Dan off no end. ‘Dang’, said Dan, ‘they should be saying Ding it’. But no matter what they did, their rival company was just too strong. Whoogle had cornered the search engine market.
