The Disease Called Inspiration
The Disease Called Inspiration B Written By; Akil K. I think it's fair to say that every artist finds their own unique calling to the path of creativity. Within the many passions that could be considered artistic, generated from the unseen abyss we call the soul, comes a calling. Descending upon the uniquely styled mind is a perspective, and from this angle of perception is born inspiration.

The Process of Dyeing; Symbolism Within Shades.
The Process of Dyeing; Symbolism Within Shades. Written By; Akil K. To dye is to give color, or perhaps shade in the case of white and black. Dyeing changes, the article imbues it with symbolic power and dissolves the fibers of conformity. Since that which has been dyed becomes individual from the mass produced. Living a new life entirely, dying to its original form, and likeness, appearing to be an entirely new fabric.

The Man Who Mistook his Wife for a Bottle of Wine.
The Man Who Mistook his Wife for a Bottle of Wine. Written By, Akil K. It began early one morning, while hard at work on a classic bust. He was a sculptor and became more devoted to his art each day. Working on a piece in the garage he loved the scent of the wet puddy, as he earnestly molded each prestine shoulder to his desire. Suddenly there was a knock, dramatically he froze in shock. It must be my wife he thought, although it was a bit early for morning disruptions.

Coffins For SaleTop Story - December 2023
Coffins For Sale By; Akil K. The sound of metal clashing could be heard echoing in the distance, like a reenactment of medieval swordplay. However, it seemed too late in the evening and far too cold in the suburban town for something as extraordinary as that to take place.

..On Daily Practice, and The Unstoppable Power of One Step. By: Akilkuumba Kelley Our ancient human ancestors explored the globe. Endless uncharted paths to choose from, flowing rivers cascade from mouths of proud reservoirs, and anthropomorphic winds speak in tongues unknown to the founders. Still, the the vehicle was only the body, and the pace step by step. This is human kinds greatest power, consistency.

Meta-Meditation
Meta-Meditation Stillness Is the Basis of Life I share this passage on the potent medicine of meditation not as self-help, but as a personal account. As an Alternative healthcare practitioner, the modalities of self-improvement that I have been exposed to are a list that is quite continuous. That is why this statement is profound since stillness is the greatest I have found. Not only does it affect the inner state, but with a bit of understanding the world around us as well.

Men's tea circle
Men's tea circle When asked why, I replied, "because Men can like tea." However, it's not about the tea, but rather the ceremony tea can create. Sitting with my patients in the clinic I often speak on the power of herbal tea not only because of its healing properties but also its ability to cause stillness.

The future of medicine.
The future of medicine. Living in the years post covid the questioning of modern medicine has become more prevalent than ever. It is only natural for individuals to consider what is the best form of medicine in the advent of a global emergency. However, modern or rather western medicine has been under scrutiny almost since its genesis. Capitalist motivation, pared with the voluntary ignorance of the medical industry has set the field back significantly.

Resurrection through the shadow
Resurrection through the shadow Why does the Dragon guard gold? Is it only happenstance that what you most desire is kept away by what you fear? When speaking about shadow work the same connection can be made. It is the parts of our self with the most to offer, that we are the most conflicted about exploring. Because in these dark places are both the things we need to see, and what we most tactfully avoid.
