My heart bleeds black and white for you to read like an open book... so don't be shy... take a look!
Times can be tough and life can feel hard Even after you played your "get out of jail" free card Sometimes there are lessons and moments to be heard

Just a month ago her nails were polished and long Now broken, uneven, and even one gone The last one is in reference to a broken toe...
As the holiday passed she was filled with cheer Not from liquor or gut-bloating beer This time felt genuine unlike the rest
Things were very different, as they should be You can feel it because this time it was all about me The root of every problem, I created
Another crossroad is coming ahead and this is like none before Unsure of my future options but certain that I won't settle anymore
Here we freakin' go again... excuse my not-so-happy tongue This a reminder of a thirty-day cycle that recently begun First the throbbing pain from the neck to the face
Sitting in the garage, drinking her morning cup of joe This was becoming her favorite daily place to go The colorful leaves blowing in the breeze
Her highs are high and her lows are low So when her mind feels confusion To the laptop, she must go... Letting her feelings out one letter at a time
This would be the first-holiday party attended in years As you can imagine her head spiraled with irrational fears What should I wear
Her day had been long and she felt tired It was the caffeine pulsating through her blood that had her wired Kicking off her shoes and laying down seemed to be her best choice
As the orders poured in she couldn't help but smile She couldn't remember the last time she felt this way... But it had been quite awhile
She wanted another chance to prove she was right Yet, what she got was endless sleepless nights That was if she wasn't drunk out of her mind
