Red Dress

Tis the season to dress up for a reason

This would be the first-holiday party attended in years

As you can imagine her head spiraled with irrational fears

What should I wear

Who will I meet

and "please be no dancing with my two left feet"

In between all of her cant and cans

She sweetly smiled at the thought of a certain man

One whom she was smitten by and knew this would be the night

To dress to impress with her red dress that fit perfectly right

Her mood instantly changed and she couldn't wait to arrive

Catching his attention wouldn't be hard but a fun thing to strive

Her heart was racing and fueled by the excitement of her personal game

She knew by his previous glances he too felt the same

But the added element of surprise on her part would bring so much pleasure

This would be a night they both would always remember

He just didn't know it yet or what was in store

Her only goal was to leave him begging for more and more

Oh, and to see her red dress crumpled on his bedroom floor!
