That's it... nothing but love from me
As the holiday passed she was filled with cheer
Not from liquor or gut-bloating beer
This time felt genuine unlike the rest
Lonely maybe, but certainly feeling unstressed
There were gifts under the tree and food galore
She couldn't wait to experience more
Working so hard with a balance of rest
No longer panicked with a tightness in her chest
Even the heart and mind were both insync
There wasn't a reason in the world that could force her to drink
Her time was never wasted, just way off the path
The hours spent overthinking ... now, made her laugh
Oh, how grand twenty-twenty-three would be
Gitty with excitement of all the sights she would see
Hey world... Happy New Year from me!

Sylvester was a Merrie Melodies canine Sylvester, the Cat, is a beloved Looney Tunes character who debuted in March 1947 in the animated short Life with Feathers. The iconic Mel Blanc once said that he enjoyed voicing Sylvester, one of his favorite characters.
