A LOVE POEM FROM WITHIN
So I am writing this again. I still don’t know about the fate of this letter. I don’t know if these words I write for you will ever reach you or not for we don’t share the same connection as we used to but as they say, if it is meant to be, it will happen, so with hope, I am writing this letter again. Maybe someone will share this with you after reading this, but it can’t be me, it won’t be me, it shouldn’t be me.

Silence Part 3.
It was the height, masculine body, strong legs, heavy dark complexion, and a chest to drool for that drew me to Akin. The guy had good taste when it came to fashion, why lie? On his good days, he willingly aided in dressing me up. I swear such stances made me feel queenly and I fell deeper. The way he looked at me when turned on, how he laughed at my not-so-funny jokes, held my hand while walking, and hugged me tight after a long day of not seeing each other. The surprise dinner dates, birthday presents. Every single day was Valentine to us, and we fell hard for each other. That didn’t last long enough to see this day, and after 7 years this is me warning my entire generation and the one to come that Love is sweet but it can turn out to be both bitter and sour.

Silence Part 2
For someone who has gone through so much at a tender age, I am ready to open up and hope beyond hope my acquaintances would grab one or two from my own story. I am not in any sort of denial that everyone has involvements that in a way wrought them, and this, in turn, makes them lead diverse walks of life. Life is a series of ups and downs and from what I know, and have read a thousand times is that life is a journey. It is a journey of 1000 miles that grants us both bliss and dark days. Some say life is short (What makes it short, I don’t know)

Dear Self First off I am proud of you today. Years ago I wouldn’t have imagined you’d get to where you are at this moment. The rough patches, the struggles, the unseen tears, the battles that drained life out of you. All those setbacks you overcame have made you much stronger. You have been through hell, and sharing your story would break your loved ones. Anyway, it’s a new dawn we are here to celebrate what you have achieved. The milestones you overcame have finally paid off. Some days you may feel like you are still behind but that is entirely not true. You see, all these minefields that you walk through are a blessing in disguise. See the progress, and trust the hiatus. Goals are hard to achieve but you have never let yourself down for you are a believer. Someone somewhere sees you, admires you, emulates you, and wishes to be like you someday. Not all of them want to follow your roots. Nevertheless, in a crowd of a million, you wouldn’t miss one or two who see you as an icon. I love how you are relentless with several aspects of your life. That energy, the zeal, the aura is out of this planet. So keep doing what you are doing every day. The universe got eyes on you. The best of the best is yet to come. Hang in there, I am super proud darling.

Reflections
I still haven’t worked on a blog since earlier this month and I haven’t gotten around a lot on posting my writings because I am working on a book with a friend of mine but I watched a video by one of my favorite YouTubers David Hammond about this topic which inspired me to write a topic about this as well.
