What Would This World Be like If Farting Was Acceptable?
What an odd subject to talk about. Farting is and has been deemed unacceptable for pretty much ever. It's such a simple thing and everyone in this world does it. Yet, we never really notice people openly fart much in society. This notion is so absurd that it's deemed comedy when it happens. People will go ballistic when someone actually performs the act in front of them. Of course, close family and friends are usually the only exceptions to this, but even they'll have a good chuckle when it happens and no one likes to be made fun of.

Practicality Is Ruining Society
Our world is becoming more efficient everyday. For the most part, this is actually a great thing. We all enjoy way more free time than previous generations. Society today has a fixation on practicality and loses sight of what we lose due to efficiencies. I'm not going to talk about the job losses or robots taking over. What I will talk about is how we treat each other as a result of our obsession with practicality.

Canadian Racism that Is Largely Ignored
So it's often heard that Canada and the USA have two different mentalities when it comes to immigration. This is a little bit of a hot topic in the USA right now. It's made me think of the different ideologies of how we interact with new immigrants. Canada is known for their cultural mosaic ideology and the USA is known for their melting pot ideology. Canada's cultural mosaic was supposed to be the antithesis of the melting pot model. Although they are two vastly different ideologies, we're all human and we tend to act certain ways when interacting in a new atmospheres.

What I Learned When I Started Drinking Less Alcohol Last Year
To start this off, I should let readers know that I don't really have anything against drinking alcohol and I have never had issues with substance abuse. I understand that there are many individuals out there that suffer from substance abuse, and this surely is not an article to comment on their experiences.

What the Holidays Taught Me About Life Structure
We all can't anticipate for our vacations or retirement. I'm sure all of us are hard workers and push ourselves every day. That's why we look forward to days of rest and relaxation. Don't get me wrong, I love vacations and relaxing like the next person. It's just that my thought process was a little different this time around.

My Review of 'Daddy Day Care'
I've heard of the movie Daddy Day Care when it first came out. I wasn't really interested in watching it back then, and I wasn't sure if I was interested in watching it now. Recently, my girlfriend asked me to watch it with her. She said she had a good time watching it when she was younger. She's agreed to watch some of the dumb stuff that I've forced her to watch, so I agreed to watch this one and here's what happened.

My Review of 'Bumblebee'
I have to say, when I first heard that they were coming out with another Transformers movie, I groaned to myself. These movies were getting progressively bad. I admit that I did enjoy the first Transformers live action movie, but it didn't really wow me. Maybe it's because I grew up watching the Transformers cartoon when I was really young, but that wouldn't explain why I liked the Beast Wars series that came out way later. I'm okay for change but the story has to be engaging.

My Review of 'Bird Box'
I know what you're already thinking: How can a Netflix movie be good? Well, it happens every so often. Don't get me wrong, the majority of the Netflix exclusive movies aren't very stellar. The majority of the movies on the streaming service are usually quick straight to video quality movies. They have a ton of romantic comedies which aren't too bad. Then there are a whole slew of so-called serious movies that are either not bad or you quit watching halfway into it.

My Review of 'The Hunting Party'
The Hunting Party stars Richard Gere, Terrence Howard and Jesse Eisenberg—three pretty popular big name actors right about now but this movie came out back in 2007. I don't quite remember their star power back then. I know Richard Gere and Terrence Howard were pretty big names for a while so maybe the studio was depending on their star power to popularize the movie.

My Review of 'Uncle Drew'
Back in 2012, there were these hilarious Pepsi commercials that had basketball star Kyrie Irving dress up as an old man schooling people at outdoor basketball courts. It was fairly popular back in the day and I remembered it being pretty fun.

The Importance of Finding Time for Your Family as a Young Adult
When I was in my early 20s, I wasn't too focused. The whole world was just opening up. I was completing university and didn't know what was ahead of me. New friends were popping up as I engaged in new activities and old ones were disappearing as my interests continued to change. Does this sound familiar at all? I'm sure this has happened with everyone but one thing remained the same, or so I thought.

My Review of 'BlacKKKlansman'
When I first heard of the concept of the Blackkklansman I thought it was a joke. After all, this is a story about a black man infiltrating the Ku Klux Klan for a police investigation. The concept reminded me of a Dave Chappelle skit he did on the Dave Chappelle show with a blind black man acting as the leader of the Ku Klux Klan. It was a funny concept but I never imagined something similar to this actually happening in real life.
