DREAM BIG
Success is something everyone wants and money is something everyone needs, but THE HUSTLE is something most try to desperately avoid. Most people strive to do the bear minimum possible while yet expecting hustle results. 2020 came in on us strong unlike any other year and has challenged us all to gain as much MOMENTUM as possible or failure will be inevitable.

My Time With B. B. King
From a little boy I've always enjoyed playing music, It didn't matter to me rather it was the drums, the piano, the organ, the lead guitar or the Bass guitar or even a flute I was ready. I was adopted at 8 months old and the family that took me in was a very musical but church going group of people. It wasn't long I found myself wanting to play something too. In those days we would walk to church down a long dirt road and as we got closer and closer you could hear the people singing. The Church floor was wooden so you could hear them keeping time with the patting of they're feet as they were singing. One Sunday I went into the church and sat in my favorite seat right down front as always but this Sunday the Pastor Elder John pulled out an electric guitar. Wow, boy did he play and those old people danced all around with so much joy I thought I was dreaming. I was about 6 years old then and I'm sure that was when the "I Got To Do That" bug bit me. Every Sunday I would go to church in a hurry, sometimes actually running to hear Elder John Play and see those people shout and dance. One Sunday it was very hot and an usher handed me a fan to fan with but somehow, I ended up holding it like a guitar and trying to help Elder John Play.

The Onion Story
One day in the early 90's I was blessed to spend some time with the very special little girl in the picture above, her name is Red. As you can see she was a very pretty little girl and It was her birthday but she didn't seem to be very happy. So I asked her if she felt up to going to Burger King to get a little something to eat? With a very big smile she replied "Yes, Sir". So we headed to the nearest Burger King. When we got there she told me what she wanted and we got a seat. Even though she was eating she didn't seem to be very happy. Someone had said somethings to her that hurt her feelings. She shared a little of it with me as we sat and talk.

Time Is Precious
We often use the term "I Spent" when paying for something we want but in reality, Money is circulated not really spent so we can always get more money while on the other hand, Time is spent. When something is spent, you will not be getting it back. So, how you spend your time is very, very important. We often allow ourselves to become so busy until our time passes without us having ever enjoyed a moment of it. When a loved one passes away I often hear family and friends say "I wish I had spent more time with them" or "I wish I had taken time for them". Time has a way of really getting away from you if your GOLDEN MOMENTS are not treasured. Time is something you should watch like you watch your money or other valuable items. It is your one most valuable commodity and you should use it well. Unlike money, once your time is gone, It's really gone...

I LOVE YOU
Falling in love is often a very scary thing. We fear falling in love and being in love all alone and as careful as many try to be, this still happens to so many wonderful people. The term "Falling in love" symbolizes a place of NO control over what happens next. This is why the person in the relationship with the least interest in it has all the control. It doesn't matter to them rather you stay or leave. But when a person really falls in love, being without the one they love is NEVER an option. This is often understood as a weakness but I beg to differ. LOVE is a very powerful thing and even though it may not always be returned to you the way you gave it or the way you want it, it is still a blessing to be able to love. Not everybody can. Love comes with a built-in healing agent for when we become broken and even though you felt like you would die, you lived...Not only did you live, but you are better than you ever been. In some countries when a cup or plate is broken instead of putting it back together with glue, they use GOLD. The gold shows every place the cup or plate was broken in but it also shows the new value you of it at the same time. The GOLD used to put it back together not only made it a cup or plate again, IT MADE IT MORE VALUABLE than it was before it was broken.

The Power of Music
Back in the 60's and 70's people mostly heard songs on the radio from a small radio they carried or a radio in their car or playing in a store somewhere as they shopped. It didn't really matter who was singing, rather they were black or white, young or old, it was the way the music made you feel that made that song your favorite song. Every time that song came on the radio it made you feel happy or think of the person you loved or just think of a happy moment. There were houses on a block where only one or two homes had a radio and when that song would come on they would play the radio in the window so everybody could hear that magic song that seemed to make everybody smile at the same time. All music is not like that now but every now and again you hear a song that reminds you of those days.

I Really Do Love You
Over the years I have met and talked with many people who boldly declared that they indeed loved the person they were with but for some reason their love came across like the roar of a scary dinosaur. Yet, right behind the roar they would say often with tear and a very fragile heart, "I Love You".
