Hello there, I am an aspiring writer and artist that has been creating ideas since I was very young. I would like to use this platform to share these ideas on a much larger scale.

Legend of The Serpent
They are covered in scales, and without any limbs, They slither around undetected by their prey. Many of these creatures have powerful venom sacs to render their victims inert and incapacitated while the ingestion process begins. Infrared sight is just another part of their amazing hunting abilities. Yes -- these creatures I will tell you about are known as “snakes” or “serpents” these days. However, these “snakes'' were once something even more powerful. Allow me to fill you in on their hidden and ancient origins.

Taken Out of Time
Danny, Gavin, and Lee have been best friends since they bonded over a stolen comic book at their elementary school’s annual book fair -- and subsequent detention. These guys are now broke 20 somethings in college, stealing hearts instead of books this time around. Being the adventurous types, they always find interesting things to do during spring break. Unfortunately for them, Danny’s idea for the gang to go on a college field trip to Stonehenge, would prove to be their most challenging quest. It must be tough going from beach parties to fighting all manner of fairy-tale things. But of course, everyone knows that druids, elves, and ogres are all just fantasy beings…right?

The Good Life
History has always been one of my favorite subjects to learn and talk about since a young age. Furthermore, I have also always been a thoughtful, artistic, and curious individual. With these qualities in mind, I believe that my occupation would be a blend of a philosopher, author, and historian.

My Life's Playlist
Music has been something I have looked to for a spectrum of emotions. I presume many other people in this world do the same as me. I listen to quite a few genres, but there are songs in particular that I appreciate from genres I do not usually listen to. For the purpose of this story and challenge, I will be focusing on songs that speak to me on a very personal level.

Love For the Game
I was once a very shy, anxious, and depressed teen, but so were a lot of others that had been my age. My disastrous relationship with food was also a setback which kept me at an unhealthy weight and BMI (Body Mass Index). Clinically, I was obese and likely morbidly. The thought of playing a sport in front of people was terrifying to me. Self-doubt would creep in with a three-course serving of anxiety to coax me out of even attempting it. This was what led to me quitting the football team before a big game, and my excuses were my grades or I was feeling sick. Neither statement was a lie, and the turmoil I was dealing with at home affected me mentally and physically.

Eternal Flight
"The heavens are so close and yet so far away", I said as I prepped our hovercraft, Shadow Walker, for what was to come. It would seem that being of primordial existence once thought to be a myth, was spotted by the denizens of my kingdom. Fear, wonder, and even anger all intertwined in the council. They argued for days and sometimes even into nights about what must be done about this situation. Weeks of deliberation were cut short when a tragic event had occurred. The news broke that the chieftain's family's home was burned to the ground -- Thankfully they were away when the fire started. This event immediately placed the blame on the unknown flaming body patrolling our skies. An operation, that was years in the making, was planned to eliminate the target.

One Last Mission
It has been a long, tiring day at the office. Running diagnostics for security systems can be tedious at best, but it sure beats Hell Week by a mile. Fortunately, by tomorrow I won’t have to use public transportation much longer. I’m slated to pick up the Chevy Suburban that my wife, Camila, and I picked out for our growing family. As if the stars aligned, my phone is ringing and I answer swiftly,

Until the Wick Burns Out
The cabin in the woods had been abandoned for years, but one night, a candle burned in the window. The surrounding forest once bustling with creatures of the night had now fallen silent, with the only sign of life being the solitary flame. The centuries-old trees that should be leafy green in the middle of summer, have now wilted into nothingness--bare limbs tell the tale of lost vigor. The pungent odor of decay repels even the most ravenous of scavengers, as if the dilapidated cabin has a force-field of death around its perimeter. No man nor beast dare to come within the radius of what would assuredly cause their untimely demise. The small town of Harthesborough, Minnesota would never forget the dark events that took place just outside of its peoples’ residences.
