Jide OkonjoPublished 4 years ago in Viva10 International Films Directed by Women that You Have to Watch
Through this long-winded quarantine, I've made it a goal of mine to expand my cinematic vocabulary and branch out beyond that of the 1000 Hollywood Movies You Have To Watch Before You Die!-kind of movies. I get it, Hitchcock made great movies - I'm not going to deny that, but cinema didn't start nor end there.

His name was Keith Bridden, with eyes so blue that they sparkled and thick, dark hair. I watched him for days while I worked as a cocktail waitress, trying not to be too obvious, but noticed he was smiling at me every time I looked his way. He'd noticed, and my heart skipped a beat in my chest just imagining what it would be like to touch him.

Who is Marlene Dumas?
The experience of the woman in artist movements are often shared from the lens of a man. Men decide how a woman’s bodies should be in form, the acts that they perform, and the features to accentuate. It has been my experience that when women create art it comes from a deeper, more humanitarian space. We use art to balance the drill of our lives where everyone needs us. The outlet to soothe our traumas or in many art movements for artistic scholars the challenge to the male gaze.

The Importance of Women Encouraging other Women

What are the manifestations of female aging

In addition to always optimistic about things, I also actively do maintenance every day. Therefore, they seem to be several years younger than women of the same age. Elysia LaidlawPublished 4 years ago in VivaDying to Be Heard.
Over the course of the past 48-days I’ve been doing just that. Dying to be heard. It all started on August 21st, 2020 after I’d fallen down the stairs- tripped really on some laundry that my grandmother had left there like we’d asked her not to for years because someone was going to be unfortunate enough to fall and break their leg.
