Readers of science fiction sometimes neglect to do our homework, don’t we? We fail, at intervals, to learn more about the creative geniuses slaving over their typewriters and keyboards to provide us with our daily amusement. That ain’t right! They deserve our respect, our affection, and for the intent of this article, a few moments of our attention as we rut around in their history to explore the factors and forces which forged them into the stars they became!

How to Ask for Weed in Foreign Languages. Top Story - July 2016.
"Getting there is half the fun," is a philosophy that never gets old. For today's potheads traveling to distant destinations for vacation, the other half is getting high once you've gotten there. But getting off on that huge chunk of red Lebanese hashish you just copped in the Beirut bazaar won't be half as easy as back home if you can't summon up the correct words to ask one of the locals for a pipe in which to incinerate your pungent purchase. Learning how to ask for weed in foreign languages should be one of the first things you do once you book your next vacation.

Most Underrated Sci-Fi Movies. Top Story - June 2016.
Everyone’s been to the classic Hollywood summer blockbusters; We’ve munched popcorn through the whole Terminator series, slurped over-iced $10 sodas throughout the Men In Black movies, cringed and laughed during Aliens, E.T., and Back to the Future. We’ve stood (for longer than we should have) in those opening day lines for all the Star Wars and Star Trek films. We’ve checked out the new Planet of the Apes franchise, nodded approvingly (for the most part) at additions like Oblivion, Edge of Tomorrow, and Interstellar to our beloved genre. But many of the most creative sci-fi motion pictures flame out fast on very limited runs on a small number of screens. Must these glittering gems of imagination go unrecognized forever? Nope; Not in this day and age of online streaming!

Marijuana Margarita Recipe. Top Story - June 2016.
Tequila and Cannabis: quite possibly the greatest marriage of ingredients since the discovery of peanut butter and bananas. Blended fluidly within the guise of a cocktail, the Medical Marijuana Margarita can cure any dark spell (or salty one) with its zesty flavor, inherently cool composition, and verte-infused high-ness. Since its first concoction in Mexico in the early 20th century, the margarita has challenged drinkers with a one tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor! style of living, mixed with the ever-looming question, “Salt? Or no salt?”

TV and weed are a marriage made in heaven. Entertaining without being too demanding and available literally everywhere, television is the easiest way to kill a few hazy hours. Whether you're planning a 4/20 Netflix marathon or just bored and couch-locked with a vape pen, here's a roundup of the greatest stoner TV shows of all time.

Star Wars Author John Jackson Miller. Top Story - May 2016.
J.J. Abrams may have rebooted the beloved galaxy of far, far away forward into the previously static Star Wars timeline, but to truly appreciate the expanse of George Lucas’ universe, it is perhaps better to take a step back. By exploring the unexamined nooks and crannies of the Star Wars universe, we are exposed to regions, realms, and characters that, even though they have never seen the big screen (yet), have a compelling and inspiring tale to tell.

Transhumanism's Sexual Identity. Top Story - April 2016.
There are countless portals through which one can access transhumanism and sex. However, it is through Kanamara-sama Shrine that a uniquely Japanese version can be connected to the fiction style of sexpunk.

Hottest Snapchat Stories to Follow. Top Story - March 2016.
Snapchat is the wave of the future. If you don’t know that it is, it is time to learn. Unlike Facebook, there are no likes or comments. Originally, folks used this medium for sexting. It was a messaging app where you could send a naked picture to someone and it would disappear in seconds. What a genius form of foreplay. It then progressed to the "story." You could make a 24 hour account of your day in "snaps" and then send it to all of your contacts, or just specific ones. They would get a time sensitive, accurate account of your day to day activities. And then, it would just disappear like magic. In the day and age of instant gratification, what is more gratifying than seeing what you need to see, and then never having to see it again (especially if you didn’t want to see it in the first place). The perfect app when you think about it. No muss or fuss.
