Inside the Mind of an Anorexic
"I am no bird; and no net ensnares me: I am a free human being with an independent will" —Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë 'Okay, so if one Weetabix is 75 calories, along with 20 extra calories from the 50ml of almond milk, that means I am allowed a skinny, sugar-free cappuccino when I get into uni, which is probably under 100 calories so if I add 200 onto my morning total, just to be safe, that will be 300 calories overall...'.
The Dark Side of the INFJ
I am an INFJ. If you are unfamiliar about what an INFJ means, then I urge you to read my other article, Inside the Mind of the INFJ, then come back to finish this.
Anxiety Battle
I am always with you. I am the voice that sits in the back of your head when your trying to sleep at night. I am the one that tells you to bite your nails when you’re in crowed rooms. I do not care that you need to be up at 3 AM for work, I do care about getting your mind racing, and as your speeding through the things you did or didn’t do during the course of your day, I am going to remind you that you are overweight and you didn’t lose any baby weight.

Mia MoralesPublished 5 years ago in PsycheDepression Can Make You Feel Like You're Drowning, but You're Not
I’m suffocating. I can’t breathe. My feelings are shutting down. I’m obliviously numb to any sort of feeling or emotion. I don’t want to talk to anyone, don’t want to hang out with friends; everything that I love, everything that I have fun doing, does not bring happiness into my life; it’s as I’m drowning and no one is helping, they are just watching me fall to the bottom.
Christina ScanlonPublished 5 years ago in PsycheWho Needs a Therapist When (Pt. 18)
So, I am close, so close, to seeing a doctor. And, I am so worried that they are going to have bad news for me. That it will take another 3 months for me to even get tested for sleep apnea, or that I do have sleep apnea (I have a mild phobia of things on/smothering my face while I sleep so I am not really looking forward to a diagnosis that would mean getting used to strapping a thing to my face. It would probably go the way of my night guard for tooth grinding, and I'll wind up not using it and just accepting that I will feel lousy.), or that it is all because of my weight (which is its own looming doom of trying to deal with. If an under 1k calorie diet doesn't work, what drastic measures could they possibly take?), or that my sleep issues aren't that bad and I should just suck it up.

Audrey-Anne CantinPublished 5 years ago in PsycheWriting About Health and Mental Health
Before writing about health, I was talking about health issues. Everyone does this. We wonder if we are eating the right things, or why we have skin problems, or aching joints. Usually, the best thing to do is just get enough sleep, eat a balanced, nutritious diet, and exercise regularly. Don’t stress yourself out. If you are a medical practitioner, it is easy to write about health. But even if you are no expert, the internet is an important resource for you to learn the facts you need to know to write a good article.

Casey ChesterfieldPublished 5 years ago in PsycheCoping with Bipolar Disorder
Anyone who has bipolar disorder knows how hard it can be to oscillate between two extremes. What are the two extremes? Mania makes you feel like a superhero, while on the other hand, depression makes you feel like the worst person in the world. Going back and forth can feel like chaos.
