You will know that many things are not without basis, and will not always blame things that happen on the so-called "fate" and "luck".

Today, I'll tell you about the psychological effect of "Murphy's Law".

"Murphy's Law" is proposed by Edward A. Murphy. Edward Murphy was not a psychologist, but a captain engineer at Edwards Air Force Base in the United States. He was involved in the MX981 experiment conducted by the U.S. Air Force in 1949. The purpose of this experiment was to determine the limits of human tolerance to acceleration. One of the experimental items was to suspend 16 rocket accelerometers above the subject. At that time, there were two ways to fix the accelerometers on the bracket, and incredibly, someone had methodically installed all 16 accelerometers in the wrong position. So Murphy made this famous assertion, which was quoted by that subject at a press conference a few days later.

Murphy's Law tells us that if something has the potential to go bad, no matter how unlikely it is, it will always happen. And when you are more afraid that something will happen, then this thing will happen.

It's like yesterday when I was drying clothes at home and I had a big pile of clothes to dry. I always used to put all the clothes on the clothesline and then take them down one by one and hang them on the clothesline again with hangers. At that time there were two white clothes, I thought in my heart, but must be careful, do not fall on the ground. The result ...... It was so "lucky" that one white dress was pulled down and fell on the ground. So I rushed to pick it up and went to wash it again.

I'm sure you've had many of these moments, as I have. Thinking and praying to be careful and watch out, only to hit the mark. If we are worried about something happening, there is a greater chance that it will happen. This is what many people call "my hunches are always accurate", which is explained by the psychological effect of Murphy's Law.

When we have something to look forward to, something to worry about, this time we will be very concerned, the more we care about our attention will be more focused, but also more likely to make mistakes.

It's like when I was worried about my clothes falling on the floor, and they did fall on the floor. At that time I also laughed, I know what this event told me again, that is, I can not be all the clothes on the pole and then take them down one by one, clothes on the ground is a small probability event, but it will always happen, we have to do is how to do their best to reduce the possibility of small probability events. If it were you, would you consider this bad luck?

Murphy's Law sums up the law of things happening at the same time, but also reminds people to avoid the possibility of mistakes, when you have a feeling that something is going to happen, you have to take a variety of insurance measures to make things not evolve worse, and a greater degree to reduce the occurrence of mistakes.

Easy to make mistakes is the inherent weakness of human beings, no matter how advanced technology is, accidents will always happen, so what we can do is think more thoroughly before the event occurs, mistakes and failures are always inevitable, and we should learn to draw lessons from our mistakes to avoid the same mistakes next time.

Mistakes happen for people to go to reflect and make summary, rather than attempting to avoid them. When you choose to escape, then inevitably, mistakes will occur repeatedly.
