1. The size of the shark

Once I went to the aquarium with my friends.

A passenger asked the manager, "How big will this shark grow?"

The manager pointed to the aquarium and said, "It depends on how big your aquarium is."

The traveler asked again, "Will it be as big as an aquarium?"

The manager said carefully: "If it is in an aquarium, the shark can only be limited to a few meters in size. If it is in the ocean, it will be big enough to swallow a lion in one bite."

Big truth: The environment can change a person's thinking. Circumstances can limit people's thinking, and people can limit their own thinking. Don't frame yourself, and when you can't change the environment, start by changing yourself.

2. Two calligraphers

During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, there were two calligraphers. A person who imitates the ancients very seriously, pays attention to that each painting must be exactly like so-and-so, for example, a certain horizontal should be like Su Dongpo’s, and a certain one should be like Mi Fu’s. Naturally, once he has practiced this step, he is quite proud.

The other is just the opposite. Not only does it work hard, but also requires that every stroke and every painting is different from the ancients, and pays attention to nature. It is not until this step that I feel at ease.

One day, the first calligrapher mocked the second calligrapher and said, "My dear friend, which of your calligraphy is from the ancients?"

The latter one was not angry, but asked with a smile: "Also, my dear friend, which of your words is your own?"

The first one heard it and was immediately speechless.

The big truth: People need to find a way from where there is no way. Don't obliterate their own personality and blindly imitate others. That will only lose themselves and even lose control of their own destiny.

The big truth of the little story, do you understand the big truth?

3. Moving mountains Dafa

There is a master who has been practising with great concentration, and has been practicing "Mountain Movement Dafa" for decades.

Someone asked sincerely: "What kind of magic did the master use to move mountains? How can I practice such magic?"

The master smiled and said: "Practicing this magic art is also very simple, as long as you master one thing: if the mountain can't come, I will go over."

There are too many things in the real world that are like "mountains" that you cannot change, or at least temporarily cannot change.

Big truth: If things can't be changed, you can change yourself. Only by changing yourself can you finally change others; only by changing yourself can you finally change the world that belongs to you. Mountain, if you can't come, then you can go there by yourself!

4. Apply

In the early 1970s, the American McDonald's Corporation was optimistic about the Taiwan market. Before they officially enter the Taiwan market, they need to train a group of senior cadres locally, so they conduct an open recruitment selection. Due to the high standards required, many young fledglings do not pass.

After repeated screening, a young man named Han Dingguo stood out. Before the final round of interviews, the president of McDonald's had three conversations with Han Dingguo, and asked him an unexpected question: "If we ask you to wash the toilet first, would you?"

Before he could speak, Mrs. Han, who was beside him, replied casually, "He always washes the toilet in our house."

The president was very happy, skipped the final interview, and decided to hire Han Dingguo on the spot.

Later, Han Dingguo learned that the first lesson for McDonald's training employees started from washing the toilet, because the basic theory of the service industry is "not to serve people, but to serve people". You may understand the principle of "respecting the family". The reason why Han Dingguo later became a well-known entrepreneur was because he was able to start from humble beginnings and do things that others were unwilling to do.

Big truth: Don't despise every little thing, because every big thing is made up of every little thing. Only by doing every little thing with a positive attitude can it be possible to do great things.
