1. A mirror

A young man was diagnosed with leukemia at the peak of his life, and boundless despair enveloped his heart. He felt that life had no meaning and refused to receive any treatment.

One late autumn afternoon, he escaped from the hospital and wandered the streets aimlessly. Suddenly, a slightly hoarse and unusually heroic music attracted him. Not far away, an old man who was blind was playing with a polished musical instrument to the few people. What's more striking is that there is a mirror hanging in the arms of the blind man!

The young man stepped forward curiously, and when the blind man finished playing the song, he asked, "I'm sorry to bother you. Is this mirror yours?"

"Yes, my musical instrument and mirror are my two treasures! Music is the most beautiful thing in the world. I often entertain myself with this, and I can feel how beautiful life is..."

"But what does this mirror mean to you?" he asked impatiently.

The blind man smiled slightly and said, "I hope a miracle will happen one day, and I also believe that one day I can see my face with this mirror, so I take it with me wherever and whenever I go."

The heart of the leukemia patient was shaken all of a sudden: a blind man still loves life so much, and I...he suddenly came to his senses, and he returned to the hospital for treatment calmly, although he would feel the pain of life and death every time he received chemotherapy, but since then He never ran away after that.

He endured the painful treatment firmly, and finally a miracle occurred, and he recovered. Since then, he has also possessed two precious treasures in life: a positive and optimistic attitude and a firm belief.

The big truth: People who want to control their own life and destiny must have the qualities of optimism and strength, because optimism and strength are the helmsman who controls the course of life, and the power paddle that grasps the ship of destiny.

2. The director is useless

There was a man from Lu who was good at weaving straw shoes, and his wife was good at weaving white silk. He wanted to move to Vietnam. A friend said to him: "If you go to Yue, you will be poor." "Why?" "Straw sandals are used for walking, but the people of Yue are used to walking barefoot; white silk is used to make hats. But Vietnamese people are accustomed to disheveled hair. With your strengths, go to places where you are not needed, so that you will not be poor, is it possible?"

The big truth: If a person wants to exert his expertise, he must be suitable for the needs of the social environment. If it is divorced from the needs of the social environment, its expertise will lose its value. Therefore, we must decide our own actions according to the needs of the society, and make better use of our expertise.

3. Stones on the Road

King Ferdinand decided to choose one of his ten princes to be his heir. He privately instructed a minister to place a "boulder" on a road with water on both sides. Anyone who wanted to pass this road had to face the "boulder" and either push it away, or climb over it, or go around. Then, the king instructed the princes to pass the road one after another, and deliver a secret letter to a minister as soon as possible. The princes quickly completed their task. Ferdinand began to ask the princes: "How did you send the letter?"

One said, "I climbed over that boulder."

One said, "I rowed over there."

Some said, "I swam through the water."

Only the little prince said, "I ran across the road."

"Did the boulder not stand in your way?" Ferdinand asked.

"I pushed it hard with my hand, and it rolled into the river."

"How can you push such a big stone with your hands?"

"I just tried it," said the little prince, "who knew it would move when I pushed it."

It turned out that the "megalith" was forged by Ferdinand and the minister with very light materials. Naturally, the tried-and-true prince took the throne.

The big truth: When you hand over your destiny to others, or even to a certain person, you don't have to think about it at all. You just believe that it's too dangerous for others. You have to learn to control your own destiny.
