Smash the Lies
When people I know think "stoner" they think "low-life, jobless, welfare sucker." They don’t think of people like me with a full-time, 8-5 job. They don’t think of the people who work two jobs, have no children, and receive no aide from whichever state that individual may live in. Contrary to what many believe, think, or feel… here’s a breakdown of the people I know who smoke weed and lead a seemingly "normal" life.
A Journey with Marijuana
I never used to smoke marijuana, because when I did, it made me eat everything in the house, and then pass out on the sofa. I couldn't remember anything, not even a recipe that I had made hundreds of times, so I would sit and stare and let my mind wander off to far places, both real and imagined.

Everybody just calm the fuq down. This isn't the 1930s propaganda you've grown weary of being associated with the terms gateway

The recent legalizing of marijuana has allowed me to start writing about my experiences in parenting with and without. My sons are 7 and 5, they both have autism and this is been a wild ride!! For this blog I will refer to them as my space monkeys. They are the most rad kids in the world, now as I say that, please know they can also be assholes. Yes my sons have special needs, that doesn't stop their asshole moments.

Grinning from ear to ear, Gigi expertly fixed the device to my novice hands and showed me how to hit a bong. My learning curve was hardly there as I quickly mastered it. "Go! Go! Go! Go!" They all yelled, cheering me like a rookie champ. My ego got the best of me and I inhaled deeply, thinking, I can handle it. I'll get high but after this, they will shut the hell up and let me and my buzz alone. I should've stopped while I was ahead but I didn't know what I was getting myself into. Gigi and her friends sat in a semi-circle on the carpeted floor of her apartment, egging me on to smoke, knowing I wasn't a smoker but also knowing that I was faded from Jungle Juice. It was much easier for me to say yes to some cannabis.

While most modern-day parents seem more than happy for their children to go out on an alcohol-infused bender every weekend, they are less pleased by the thought that their child might be out there high as a kite on some class A party drug, and fair enough. If this is the case though, why are drug and rave cultures still such a mass part of modern society and more so, why are they brushed under the carpet and hidden from society as though the person taking the drug is a sin in themselves?

Adrian SpencerPublished 6 years ago in PotentWhy Are Some CBD Oils Illegal?
CBD oils tend to fall into a certain legal grey area, with many people being unsure what is legal and what isn't. Finding out what's legal or not can often depend on who you ask — not ideal if you love the stuff.

I was 17 years old and worked my butt off at school. I had a reasonable GPA (3.0) and worked part time at a local restaurant. After a year of working there I started smoking marijuana with one of my coworkers. We would smoke in the fridge, restrooms, the back(outside). Being that we would smoke wax out of a pen made it a lot easier to do so; we were always high on the job. It made our jobs much more enjoyable.
Want to Smoke at Work? Be an Artist
First, I would like to note that I am not here to argue the legality of weed in the work place. I am very much an advocate of both medical and recreational marijuana. That being said, there are definitely a few career paths in which you should not be smoking at work. For example, a surgeon should not be getting high to operate. One minor slip-up could lead to the loss of another human being. However, if a cook at McDonald's is stoned, the worst that could happen would be an error in my meal. Although that's annoying, I'll survive. So, the question to be asked is, "What job allows you to be stoned and productive?" And no, I am not talking about bud trimming at a dispensary. I am talking about art.
