Brutalist
Introduction I originate from Preston, and the bus station was built when I started secondary school at Preston Catholic College, so it has been there all my independent life, and I still think it is one of the greatest examples of Brutalist architecture ever.

What Would Oprah Do?
A nice Top Story badge for you! And you and yes, you get one, too! Vocal, quite often, often seems to do What ol' Ms. Winfrey once used to. “You get Top Story. So do you!” But wait, hold on there! No, not you! That would give you too much dough There in your wallet, see, and so, You would withdraw that twenty-plus Instead of listening to us. We would suggest you sit and wait And so, we're helping. Ain't that great? Heck, in a year or so, you'll make A dime from Reads and you can take That to the bank, but wait a bit While we make sure that you're legit. When the long wait finally ends, You'll realize we're your best friends. We're only looking out for you And all the other writers, too.

The Negative Square Root of Life
A child stretches their arms at the break of day. Six am is a wonderful time to play. The world is full of things that are a marvel. But then, a child’s mind is somewhat larval. There are important things to be done. Being told to do chores can cause a huff. Parents shrug their shoulders and say, “What can you do? The time to say farewell will come soon enough.”
