Last call…they say, last call, last call

Bottoms up, cheers and farewell

One last drink that one last shot

Just one last chance before it’s gone

Coming to a close oh, how we groan,

Last calls come leaving us alone

Calling to an end the good times we’re having

Bringing to a close, finality in ending

The curtains drawn the doors are locked

You’re out of time, it’s 2 o'clock

Last call leaves you at the door

Clinging to what was before

The times run out the bar run dry

The stage lights kicked as roses fly

A curtsy, bow, and heartfelt eulogies

Goodbyes made sweet and tenderly

In each phase of life a last call comes

No clanging cymbals no beating drums

The lights turned down and the silence hums

A mandate we must all succumb

So, raise a glass and make a toast

For no cure for fate is diagnosed

Pain must be felt and then released

Last call delivers both defeat and peace
