My Writing Group Is Getting Together In Person
So far, there will be seven of us at dinner. We have talked about getting together for years now and it is finally happening. And best of all it is on our regular rhyming night!

The Reckoning
Yesterday Open to regret Until today ends Dare the past Overshadow the future Never 'Til the final die is cast. Trepidation at thoughts Anchored without sound Knowledge Eking out slow sorrow Acceptance lay in Narrowing prospects Yielding Tasteless fruit Harvested in Ignorance Nullifying Growth Will the time Infused in every sinew Temper random seeding 'til it Holds? You are given now Options before us, Unaware When tomorrow dawns Honest in its recording Every bite in gluttony Numbs satiety Yet Our choices Uncover futility Designing to live Immortal in Eternity.

A study claims that 500 years before science, Dante's Inferno mapped a planetary impact.
The geometry of Hell as portrayed in Dante Alighieri's Inferno closely resembles the physical structure created by a massive planetary impact event, according to a new study presented at the European Geosciences Union (EGU) General Assembly in Vienna in April 2026.

Screaming from the rooftops. Top Story - May 2026.
I screamed from the rooftops today I screamed as loud as I could. My closest and dearest all to the furthest and coldest could hear my voice; but they tilted their head in disbelief.
