My Writing Group Is Getting Together In Person
Next Monday we are having dinner together on the 8th of the month. Our regular rhyming day...
So far, there will be seven of us at dinner. We have talked about getting together for years now and it is finally happening. And best of all it is on our regular rhyming night!
So it will be fun to meet in person. And I'm hopeful we will be able to do a group rhyme. Maybe nonsense, maybe not.

Monday is coming fast!
Yes, I am excited as we will have a blast
~
We will all have so many laughs
Rounding up our favorite nonsense
I'm so excited about getting together
Time to bring fun to the wait staffs
It can be quite intense
No matter the weather
Getting together will be a blast
~
Getting together Monday won't be out last
rodeo. We will meet at a restaurant in town
One of my favorites, causing noone to frown
Until we meet again it will be difficult
Please let's make it worth it, the result
~~
Author's Note: It will be good food and great company. There will be some real harmony. They are all such a treasure. We will have a blast coming together. It will remind everyone to bring their best or better. Hoping we can read what we wrote. I will have to get out a note.
