Best Fashion Photographers on Instagram to Follow
Fashion photographers aim to capture colors, styles, cultures, and individuals at the moment. They want to show their viewers the diverse types of fashion out there in the world. And the best way these photographers are doing it is through their social media—mainly Instagram. Since Instagram is the perfect platform to show off your best photos and get your posts across the Internet, photographers have been taking advantage of this. Using Instagram is also a perfect place to use as your own personal portfolio. You can show editors, business managers, and anyone else who's interested in seeing your work.

If there's one thing that has become a decidedly Millennial move, it's taking elegant photos of food. We'd say that this is thanks to the trendiness of being a foodie or because Chopped is such an excellent show, but truthfully, social media has most of the blame on this one.

Coming up with a good idea for a photo shoot isn't easy—nor is actually doing a photo shoot from start to finish. Truthfully, the hardest part to deal with is the creative part. Money can buy good camera straps or new DSLR lenses, but it can't buy the spark of imagination that makes great photography happen.

Leanna DavisPublished 6 years ago in PhotographyWhere Do You Find Models for Photoshoots?
1. Family and Friends They are honestly the best practice. The majority of photographers start with shooting people who are in their circle. First of all, they're easy to find, for obvious reasons. Secondly, it is way less nerve-racking as they're not professional models so they don't expect anything from you. They're just here to help you. It is great to work on your craft, learn how to work with light and composition, and try new things! I also believe that they are the best practice because they're much harder to direct, so you learn a lot that way. People who are not used to posing are often uncomfortable in front of the camera, and it's your job to get them to relax and guide them into their poses. It's much easier with models because they know how to work their angles, they know how to play with light, faces, and poses and are willing to try more things than your friends or family typically would. So it's interesting to start with people that you know because it is harder, so you learn more.

Wedding Photography
I've been doing wedding photography for three years now and it's been quite the adventure. I've had good days and bad days. Mean clients and nice clients. Some really awkward moments when people accuse me of wedding crashing... and some really great days where I felt like I was an actually friend with the people there.
