Wouldn’t it be wonderful if all the problems in our lives disappeared? Unfortunately, that’s not how life works. But that doesn’t mean life is all gloomy and depressing, right? Life has many positives to offer as well and, for the sake of our well-being, we have to think positively to become the best versions of ourselves. If you’ve been feeling under the weather recently, here are ten ways to lift your spirits and make positive thinking an integral part of your life.
People are pretty uncomfortable with change. Some, including myself have a habit of dealing with it by, not so much pretending it isn’t happening... but by ploughing on as if it has already happened. And it hasn’t happened... yet. This particular modus operandi has been my go to action to deal with any number of uncomfortable situations.
I wake up around 5 AM every morning. Mostly this is my nature. I don’t sleep later very often. And I don’t always need an alarm. I love getting up early in the quiet of our house. There is nothing more comforting to me than a cup of coffee, our dog beside me as I write.

Growing up, all throughout middle school and high school, I had terrible self-esteem. Other people's opinions meant everything to me and I would always take them personally. I was extremely insecure in every aspect of my life, the way I looked, talked, acted, etc. and this made my teenage years really difficult.
We live in challenging times. Most of us, however, still have to work in addition to just dealing with living in a rapidly changing world. Needing to be productive every day only serves to compound the stresses already surrounding us. Fortunately, there are several basic steps detailed below that anyone can take in order to better cope with stressful days. These may seem like deceptively obvious ideas, but in truth there are a few simple and easy to practice methods of shoring up your physical and mental health in order to better tackle the world's challenges.

While I think those arguments have solid merit, I think it’s also nice just to read fiction for entertainment.
