Some people keep changing partners to avoid changing themselves.

This statement is true for most people, but not all. If you are the one who is always looking out for others and always the one showing up for them, how does that make you feel? I know from experience that this kind of life can leave a person feeling drained, exhausted, and angry. I would spend so much of my time trying to help others with their problems or situations that I couldn’t see that I was the one drowning and no one was coming to help me. Sometimes we have to change partners to grow positively. However, I will save this part of the conversation for another day. The main point of this piece is to shed light on those individuals who think they can keep using good people as their own recharging station. These individuals keep changing partners because they lack the intellectual capacity to look inward. These people know what they need to work on within themselves, but instead of looking inward and making the positive changes they need for themselves, they shift the blame onto others so they do not have to face themselves. Some people find themselves in extremely toxic situations with others because they have mastered the art of manipulation, scare tactics, emotional drainage of others, and trauma dumping on others. These types of people will always change partners because they do not know who they are, so they don’t know what it is like to feel or even experience true love. In fact, they will never know what true love is or even looks like because they are so used to fake love on the outside of them that they cannot see that they are the ones with the internal issues, and when someone has taken the time to work on their own internal traumas, here come the spirit soul suckers.

Now there is nothing wrong with changing partners in your life if it is going to help you and the team as a whole. However, if you see the patterners of some of the people going in another direction then this would be the perfect time to sit down with the person one on one and see what is making the person move differently on the other hand if you have already done this and the person is still choosing to move the way they are then pause and just watch their patterners. Their actions will always show you where their true intentions are by what they allow to hold their interest.

Now I am not saying that you should waste your time tying to get others to do better for themselves, what I am saying is don’t get catch wasting more time trying to help when the other person is committed to misunderstanding what you have said and their actions show you that they never intended on doing anything differently expect drain your good energy dry. In this situation it is best to cut ties with these kinds of people because they intentionally know exactly what they are doing and in these moments is when you have to learn to let go of people, places, things, and environments that are not helping to get the team to the next level.

If you have to change the dynamics of the relationship, then you are doing the correct thing, Now here is the funny part to this whole point. The moment you stop letting others walk over you and you start setting boundaries and have put standards in place now all of a sudden, you are the bad guy. Now here is what I have to say to all of you that think you can make me the villain in you story. Go ahead and let me be the villain because protecting my peace and the people that show up intentionally for good and productive healing are the only ones that I currently allow in my space right now. This part of my life has no negotiation tactics for you to manipulate.
