Overcoming The Fear

Start Where You Are, Start Small

So many people have gigantic Goals they become Excited about.

However, shortly after the Initial Excitement, something Changes.

Reality begins to set in.

Fear surrounds you.

It's a normal thing to Experience, it happens to all Humans.

But it feels like You are Alone.

There is another Feeling, like No One else will ever Understand the Emotions coursing through You.

It is strange because we all Feel these things similarly, yet Experience them Differently.

No one is immune to this happening, not even myself.

As I write this I am Feeling it, so it is very Real for me too.

This is what I know.

The feeling is not fun, but it isn't the end of the world.

It is a voice inside our mind, but not the one we need to be Focused on.

That feeling may have a Purpose, one that could be Beneficial, but it generally is not the one we should allow to Control Us.

We shouldn't necessarily Reject it, but we can't let it Rule our Destiny.

So what do we do in the face of this?

Act with Courage.

Many people believe that Courage is the absence of Fear, but that is not True.

To be Courageous is to Act in the Face of Fear.

It is to see the face of a Monster and to step forward anyway.

I know what you are thinking though...

"I'm still scared."

It's alright.

You do not have to sprint forward.

You do not have to leap forward.

You do not even need to walk forward.

All you have to do is take One Minuscule Step.

The reason most People never reach their Goals comes down to 2 things.

They move faster than they are ready for...

Or...

They don't move at all.

But both of these are avoided by just starting with One Minuscule Step.

That is the key.

When you try to move too fast, you become Overwhelmed.

When you don't move at all, you remain Stuck.

But the Tinniest of Steps can open a world of Courage.

One Step becomes Two.

Two becomes a Foot.

A Foot becomes a Meter.

A Meter becomes a Mile.

A Mile becomes a Journey.

That Journey can dramatically Change and Improve your Life.

But it all begins with that Single Step.

In that One Minuscule Step you begin to Overcome.

You Overcome your Doubts.

You Overcome the Fear.

You Overcome the Opinions of Others.

You Overcome the Obstacles.

I have a Mentor who always says this...

O.M.M.S.

Obstacles Make Me Stronger.

The Feeling is just an Obstacle.

Every time you hear it's Siren Call, it presents an Opportunity.

It is an Opportunity to become Stronger.

One Minuscule Step.

You are then Stronger.

Another Step.

Your Strength Increases.

As you become Stronger, the Voice does not Disappear...

But it does become Smaller.

The Fear will still Exist.

But it will not Dominate your Life.

This will show you that you are no Longer Chained by that Feeling.

You are Free.

What you do with that Freedom will be up to you, but it has always been your Right.

All you needed to do was Start Where You Are.

All you needed to do was Start Small.

Once you get started, you will hear all forms of other Siren Calls around you.

They will tell you that you "Need" this, or that, or some other thing.

None of it is True.

The only Thing you Need is You.

As You are, right here, right now.

Take the One Minuscule Step.

The World needs more people who have the Courage to take their One Minuscule Step.

Go.

Facts 💯 you have to take it step by step. This is very inspirational.

  • Totally agree with you. Even the tiniest step is still progress.

  • This is so true . I relate. When I was much younger I made so many goals and was a,grand master of multi-tasking of so many irons in the fire and spread so thin . I am older now and I take one day at a time and one step at a time to keep active and care about humanity
