Mental Abuse
Abuse comes in many different forms. To name a couple: there is physical abuse, mental abuse , emotional abuse and substance abuse. All are equally important to know about but we are going to focus on the mental aspect.This is a touchy subject and many people are not open to talking about it due to embarrassment of letting it happen in the first place. If you are one of these people know that you are not alone and talking about it is the first step to overcoming it and taking back your power. A lot of mental abuse starts at home when you are a child and can affect your adult life. You had no choice but to sit and take any abuse that was given because you were not capable of standing up for yourself as a child and as an adult you are probably insecure or dealing with abuse from your partner. I am not a therapist and i encourage anyone dealing with any form of abuse to get professional help, if you are not able to remove yourself from the situation. Have you ever considered what it would feel like to be a superhero? Have you ever thought about the amount of power one can control? Well, We might not believe ourselves to be a hero with superpowers, however, you do have a hidden power. This power is the power of the mind. To obtain it, you must discipline yourself. Consider this; Batman is on the Justice League and his capabilities rival that of Superman. Why is that? Well because he uses his mind before his physical abilities. Being Slow, Steady, Calm and Consistent Have you ever felt that you need to go faster? Do societal pressure push on you to make you achieve your goals faster than you would personally like? You’re all alone in this f*cked up world.
Nobody tells you this, so it’s hard to accept when you finally realize. You’re all alone in this f**ked up world. People are there but they’re never really THERE for you. We have people in our lives to pass time, make memories, have fun, love, laugh/cry with. When it comes down to it we never really have anyone but ourselves.
