Mermaid on the Rocks
Mermaids, sea creatures, Gods of the sea, this is what came from my nerdiness and love for mythology. I have loved mermaids and water since I was a little girl, have always felt comfortable in the water and would spend long periods of time in it. Be it by swimming or just floating there. I always was called the fish out of water because of it. For this tattoo I was looking for something that would represent that in all it's meaning but for some time I couldn't find anything that would call to me. Some time ago I accompanied my friend to a tattoo shop for an appointment and as she was scrolling on her phone to find the design she wanted she stumbled upon this design online and show it to me saying I believe it would look great on you and it captures what you were looking for. I fell in love with it at first sight. Because I would always tell her how I would like to have a mermaid tattoo on me but at the same time It didn't feel correct cause the different ones I saw and belive me I saw quite lot of them that seemed too grotesque, big, flirty, scary, just too cartoony, not for me.Then appeared this merman who took us by surprise ,for me specifically when I get some art done on my body it has to mean something. At first I started to think really deep about what meaning a merman would have for me to get it on my body. It took me a while to get somewhere with him. At the time I had just changed schedules at work it was a good change but it meant less social life than I had at that point it wasn't much. When I talked to the artist about doing him at first all we had was a black and white drawing we took from the internet. From there we talked about sitting him on something so his pose would be explained. It took 7 hours in total that we had to divide in 3 sittings thanks Covid regulations for the shop. So while we were in this session there came the idea of waiting, of things are going to get better if you're patient. So to me this merman is sitting on the rocks waiting for something. Maybe a new start or maybe someone. I happen to like mythology so we can put it as a representation of the sea gods. This could be a young Poseidon before he became ruler of the sea. Or could also be Grannus warming the spring waters, Yocahu watching over the sea,Varuna god of the water and the celestial ocean, Neptune before going to war,Triton thinking of the legacy his father left for him. Maybe he's thinking of his next move, where would he swim to, what would he do, who will he meet, etc… There's a million ways to try and interpret this. The interpretation for me is an imagination of an alternative reality where we are just waiting for what comes next. We take our time to breath and think before we act.Maybe we will take that step and quit our jobs to travel the world. Or we'll get the courage to talk about our problems with someone. Who knows maybe we will get the calm we need to keep doing whatever it is that we do. But for now we are sitting on a rock thinking of what would be our next move in life. Just waiting.

I am on my porch, after a long day at the desk, I needed some fresh air; I went to see my stats and I am deeply confused, this week was all about what is next on my spiritual journey, I met with a wonderful coach and I got some direction, but as my mouse stopped on the views and hearts of 104, the one where I talk about Rafael, I felt confused; I wrote it on an empty wall, a silent street, so I am not sure how come that is the most read, the most reacted to of all the numbers . Then I thought, maybe this is direction; this history book is all about my healing process, but in order to heal I have to write about the experiences that made me hard, that left me speechless, the ones that betrayed my soul.

I Watched a Spider Not Kill a Fly Today
This morning I was taking my morning poop in my bathroom when I witnessed the most peculiar sight. I saw a spider not kill a fly today. I witnessed this extraordinary experience while enjoying my guilty pleasure getting lost in my thoughts and ambitions for the day without my cellular device of mass anxiety.

Needing Some Motivation?
Why read motivational sayings? For motivation! In 2018 I went through a divorce that brought me to some of my lowest points in life. I felt as if the entire world was crashing down on me and the weight was too much for me to handle. I needed help, I needed support, and I needed motivation. As I turned to trusted friends and family, we started sharing some of our favorite quotes and sayings. I began to feel somewhat whole again and was ready to start a new chapter in my life. All of us can benefit from inspirational thoughts, especially now during 2020 as so many of us have been impacted by the pandemic. So, here are ten great ones to get you started:

Tracing My Motivation
My story begins as a child in the 80’s, we just moved to Florida from Germany. I cannot recall having much motivation at this point other than to do anything to impress my mother. My mother worked several jobs as I grew up and was never home. I think that is why I felt invisible and thus began my motivation for getting her approval. I sought her approval through having good grades and trying to excel in sports and other after-school activities. I admit that I went through phases of good and bad grades. Her initial response to my straight A’s was, “You can do better”. So, at times I would make bad grades in hopes that she would say the same thing and then when I improved, I would get praise. Even though I never received her praises, I still wanted to maintain good grades with the hopes that she would see me.

Various Kinds of Entrepreneurs in Working Fields
The word Entrepreneur proposes a person who has seen a need and has an innovative business thought to compensate for that need. Business visionaries are troubled to foresee the various risks of executing their idea and see the aspect of the top of their alliance or alliance. They see full commitment concerning the execution, accomplishment, or confusion of the business. Guaranteed thankfulness may relate to being a touch of breathing space director with inventive and creative contemplations for online use, and with someone who can use the power of the web to fill a quality.

Just Have Fun, Man.
Sometimes I rub people the wrong way. Not everybody likes me and what I do and I accept that. It comes with everything I'm trying to do. If I let it get to me I would simply be wasting energy that I could be applying elsewhere in more impactful ways. But I also feel like people misunderstand me a little bit and everything that I'm about. They say I try too hard and take things a little too far sometimes. I often get the question "Well, why can't you just be normal?". Don't get me going on that one, please. Different topic for a different day.

The Ugly Side of Healing
The Ugly Side of Healing (Trigger warning) The first time I filmed this animation, I wanted nothing more than to rush through it. I made the vines as simple as I could- barely adding any value whatsoever. The background of the images were composed of junk, trash, and a bunch of stuff overflowing atop my dresser. You can even see my tv playing Community in the background. As I sat down to edit this, it hurt my head and eyes to not only be confronted with the image of myself spread out and passed out, but the horrible artistic touch added made things so much worse. For there was nothing to focus on. Just me. Vulnerable. Exposed. In so much pain. This project was strange because for the first time, my perspective shifted from victim to onlooker or perpetrator.
