Why Criticism Hurts
We’ve all been there. You’ve made some plans to do something big. At least, it’s big to you. Maybe you have some big ideas on starting a business or to create the physique of your dreams. Or maybe you want to learn the piano or write a novel. Whatever it is, you’re excited and feel some confidence you can do it, provided you stick with it.

Interviews
So, you probably don't know this because it just happened, but I have an interview later. I got multiple texts saying that this modeling/acting agency was interested in me and that I should call them back so I can book a spot for an interview. So I called them yesterday and we set up a Zoom meeting today at around 6:30 PM and I'm nervous as hell.

Resilience Rewards With Results
I talked yesterday of adversity and difficulty, how inevitable it is in life, and how we should seek out the opportunities that these times bring, rather than focus on all the negatives of the situation. Easier said than done indeed, but more than possible, especially the more we learn to strengthen our mindset, and work on our emotional control. There's one particular trait that we all possess within us, that is pivotal, when it comes to dealing with and overcoming times of adversity, failure, and loss. That trait is none other than resilience. Resilience is possessing the ability to recover quickly from difficulty, challenge, failure, and adversity. Now we do each possess resilience within us, however the vast majority of us only draw on it when we have no other option but to, such as when it's life threatening, or something that impacts our way of life, or if it disrupts our method of survival, or if it threatens our health, or maybe it places our family in danger. We then we normally would do whatever it takes to negate the situation, and we work hard to find a solution to overcome the adversity. Where we should also be applying our resilience more though, is in the pursuit of our goals, our happiness, and our success.

The Disciplined Power of Making a Single Choice
Supplying one link vs. two links is life-changing. Imagine you have a social media profile and you only offer one link in your bio. Or imagine you email 100,000 people and you only give them one link to your work. Or contemplate writing your career history for a potential employer and only giving them one link.

How to boost your productivity and achieve more.
Many people have problems focusing or being productive, so to say whether it's working for school, office, or just hobby. I've been freelancing for about 1.5 years now, and I've tried to build a semi-successful business that didn't work out initially, but starting freelance writing did really well for about three last months. I pretty much work all day. If I see a potential story, I dive into it and write about it.

An Introduction
Hello, I've been sitting on this platform for a while afraid to post anything I have to share because of my fear of being vulnerable in front of strangers, but at this point, there is no reason to hide our voices, especially with how this pandemic has impacted us physically and emotionally. Storytelling is healing and I want to get used to sharing again. When we tell our stories, we can clear up the running story line in our minds and potentially connect with people who have shared experiences. This page is about being raw, exchanging information, and enhancing our perspectives. Truth be told, I miss political banter with friends at social gatherings, I miss studying and writing passionately about political and social theory, and bouncing ideas off of my peers. To be honest, I've become a little soft and dull after a much needed break from educational institutions and the restaurant life. Those were some heavy days, but I am grateful for the people who have created platforms to continue those discussions and are actively sharing knowledge with their communities. This is a huge move forward with everything going online, we can still connect with each other even though we're farther apart.

Quiet People Can Rule the World
I worship quiet people because I was a loud idiot before. Keanu Reeves was the first person to make me believe in a quieter world. I was so busy running around for years making a giant noise, that I missed the simple act of being quiet.

Challenges: Who Are You?
Learning who you are once you meet face to face with an obstacle or challenge is something many people face throughout their lives. Multiple times do we find ourselves meeting these phases between jobs, promotions, opportunities to move to a different city or country.. or even as simple as playing sports.

How an Online Quiz Gave Me a Life Revelation
How many of you sometimes get distracted by taking the fun, but sometimes ridiculous and time consuming online quizzes? Personally, I can get sucked into them quite easily. Even if they aren’t scientifically accurate, they are at least amusing.
