Life Lessons I Hope I Learn by 40-Something as a 30-Something Man
As the meaning of life becomes clearer, so do the lines on my face. I am 34 years old and approaching 40 like a Japanese Bullet Train. It’s in your human nature to fear aging. Aging means you’re getting closer to death. Yet there are plenty of people who are still alive but dead inside.

Are you ready for the good news, now?
I’m no stranger to trauma, though, I wish I could tell you differently. Like many others in this world, I’ve grown up in a chaotic battle for attention from a parent that chose their path. Little did I know - I was chasing after that parent, barefoot on a gravel backroad somewhere, in the middle of nowhere - for 20 years.

Truth Or Dare
We know that a dare is a challenge that requires us to demonstrate courage in order to accomplish it; to take a risk, as it were. Perhaps you have previously played the good old "truth or dare?" game with a group of friends, and when it came around to you being given the responsibility to choose one, either option would always feel a little uncomfortable. You would have either had to reveal something perhaps private, secretive, or awkward, about yourself, that you preferred not to share, however you knew the game was about being totally honest, or you were given a task or action, that was very upfront, confronting, and maybe even put you at risk to potential harm or injury. Although, if played sensibly, it's a game that poses no risk to our health or life, it's a great little tester in measuring our courage, to an extent anyway, whilst incorporating some fun and socializing with our friends into it. It drags us out of our comfort zone, and forces us to do something, or say something, that we wouldn't normally do or say, nor would we feel comfortable in doing or saying. When all is said and done though, once into the game, that initial discomfort and awkwardness soon turns into a few laughs and some good fun. As our friends begin to start revealing some truths, and start engaging in some dares of their own, we become a bit more relaxed, and we soon understand that we all each have our own secrets and fears. We also begin to understand that steeping out of our comfort zone isn't as bad as we assumed it would be. Initially, things were awkward and uncomfortable, but soon become fun. We parted with that barrier that was holding us from having fun, and kept us in discomfort. Once we let go of that care and fear, it became enjoyable. If only we responded the same way in real life.

This Is How to Create a Sudden, Radical Shift in Your Life
This quote made my eyes bleed the first time I saw it: “You can’t make radical changes in the pattern of your life until you see yourself exactly as you are now. As soon as you do that, changes will flow naturally.”— Henepola Gunaratana

A-Chi-Ta (The Beginning)
What's Up? to be honest I'm just another human surviving within the many. Everyone makes mistakes, Everyone has a story but not every mistake is bad or not every story is worth reading, who am I to speak? My story is a f*ked up way of saying I Made it, even though it doesn't look or seem like it. I'm not rich but I got money, no car but get place to place and not much food but still well fed. This Vocal this is a new finding of mine so bare with me if I'm not getting to points or whatever.

Take Flight Never Land
Like the majority of homeowners, I usually spend my weekend’s cleaning and doing yard work. My house is located in a neighborhood that consists of stand-alone houses, and condos. Unfortunately, my house is also located on a flight path, where throughout the day you see airplanes, either taking off or landing to and from the airport. One particular hot Saturday, in between cutting grass and pulling weeds, I kept looking up at the sky because it seemed busier than usual. I swear, it seemed like every five minutes there was a plane either going out, or coming in. I don’t know if it was the heat, but I started to day dream a little. I started to think about the people boarding their planes getting ready to go to God knows where. I started to think about the excitement they had in their eyes, as they put their baggage away in the overhead compartment, buckled their seat belt and prepared for flight. As they looked out the window before the plane started to move, I thought about what they would be able to see while in the air and how beautiful it will look. I also started to think about how freeing it would be while the plane cruises above the clouds. At this very moment, is when I opened my eyes. It was like I was shocked with a defibrillator. I really didn’t care that my next door neighbor was now staring at me from a far, or let alone how long he has been standing there. That quick day dream allowed me to make sense of something that have bothered me for so long.

To The Girl
To the girl, To the girl with the insane insecurities, the constant overthinking, the poor self-body image, the poor confidence, you’re better than all of that. You’re better than the person who made you feel so down about yourself that you doubt everything. You’re better than the emotional and mental torture you put yourself through and everyone else put you through. You’re better than bullying yourself. Don’t be like the person that damaged you the most.
