My Coming Out
Hi, My name is Nathaniel Kemp or previously known as Nokomis Kemp and this is my story. I am female to male transgender and I feel like we need to normalize our stories and share them with everyone even with all the differences on the world. I knew I was different at a very young age. I was still in elementary school when I really knew. I never came out until my senior year of high school which was in 2017. School was really hard especially since I was the type of person who really dressed as they felt. I dressed as a dude some days and dressed as a girly girl the next and I got picked on a lot for that, but that was me. It was who I was. It was who I desired myself as, but as I got older things started to change. I had started to over feminize myself because I was starting to feel some disassociation with my body. This was around my freshman year that I started really worrying myself with what was going on. Although I never had the nerves to go to my mom about it because her ex-husband I ended up just keeping it to myself. A couple years had gone I was dressing however I wanted just like I did I’m elementary school and people still saw me as a freak but I was just being me. I think what pushed me the most on coming out in my senior year was when my grandma was dying in the hospital and I know I couldn’t bare her not seeing live up to who I wanted myself to be. My grandma did end up passing away earlier that year but I still came out for her because she always knew that I was meant to be something better and something greater. She always told me to never be ashamed of who I was and that’s what really pushed me to come out to my mom even though I still had a lot of doubt because I never knew if she would support me or not. Fast forward about a year and a half when I moved out and I started my medical transition. I’m currently 2 years and some months on testosterone and I couldn’t be happier. There are still struggles I deal with in this life as now I’m 21. Theres dating and now being accepted by a partner. There’s also workforce’s who don’t really accept it either but we manage. Mind you this was just a summed up version of my coming out story. I love myself now more than I ever have.

The Organ Grinder's Monkey
The Image almost always recalled hearing the phrase Organ Grinders Monkey is of the old-time street musicians playing a barrel organ, while a trained monkey performed to the music. Art often makes money in strange, cute, and embarrassing ways. And sometimes the artist can be reduced to little more than a trained monkey themselves, bound to the whims and needs of something bigger and stronger. You must wonder who the real organ grinder is and who's the monkey. Who is performing and who is getting paid?

Model vs photographer
I first found out I was destined to be a photographer at the age of 12. I was in the Bahamas on the Disney cruise with my family and my mom Had a old Kodak camera. The one we’re you had to wind it up after every picture lol yea. Found out after our trip was over and we got back home that I took so really good pictures. So after that experience I decided to pursue different types of photography. I obtained myself my first canon camera and would just go around and take pictures of small this trees plants buildings, as I grew in the field i started get more interested in making it not only a career but it became my biggest passion. I went to college a got a associates in digital and film photography. In while I was in school is we’re I thought of the idea of model vs photographer. Which basically means no matter which side that you are on you can do both just as well as the next. You can be the model and you can also be the photographer. As long as you put you all into your goal your vision your dreams anything is possible. As of today I am building a clothing line and helping anyone who has a dream. Because it’s not just about the dream but as the dreamer it’s up to you to put in the hard work to make your dream reality. I am currently going to la film school and at the beginning of my time there we got to meet the producers for the very good Netflix series stranger things. Not gonna lie at first before I meet them I didn’t like that show. And while they were standing in our class going around the room asking us who like the series and 90% of them said yes and then they got to me lol. Now none of us knew who these individuals were at the time. They wait asked me what I thought about it and with out hesitation I said “I think it sucks honestly”. Not gonna like it felt good and bad at the Same time. Shortly after that they revealed to us who they were 😭 I really wanted felt bad but at the same time didn’t. If you have a dream a vision never put it to the said because you think it won’t work. Your vision may just become your masterpiece, yes there will be haters that don’t wanna ever see you make it and it will be hard but you have to realize something. If it’s worth it it’s will be hard and if it’s easy it’s not worth it💯. I don’t want anything that is easy to obtain I wanna fight and grind for my goals not just have them handed to me. It’s a lot better when you chase your goals.

How I Changed my Life by Doing Nothing. . .
A year ago today I was at my worst. Physically, mentally, and socially. Today I am doing better than ever before. When reflecting on how I got here I realized I physically changed nothing. I did not start working out, I did not start a new hobby, and I did not make any new friends. The only thing I changed was my outlook on life.
