10 Quotes To Encourage Us To Avoid Procrastination
We all want to find some sort of certainty and reassurance when it comes to making decisions, especially important ones. At all costs, we want to avoid making a decision that will lead us to failure, financial loss, embarrassment, and unnecessary judgement from others, and that's only natural, as none of these results are pleasant. As a result, we seek solace in the form of procrastination, just to delay rushing into anything that could have that negative impact on us. When we talk about these important decisions in life, ones that can result in a positive life transformation, goal achievement, success, prosperity, and even fulfillment and happiness, pretty much all the time, these decisions come with some form of risk, change, and awkwardness. It leaves us with having to weigh up the pros and cons, but because the human mindset is more reactive and receptive to negativity, due to our first form of instinct being about protecting our method of survival, we more often than not allow the cons to dictate our decision. Having said that, we also don't want to shut the door on that opportunity for a positive life transformation, goal achievement, success, prosperity, and even fulfillment and happiness, so our go to decision is to think about it. We want more time to really look over those pros and cons more carefully, we may want to do some research, we may want to gain advice from others, and we may go on the warpath to seek out more reassurance about proceeding. This would be more than understandable, because we don't want to foolishly rush into anything that is not beneficial for us, or perhaps may be a scam, but there are two issues with procrastination.

Self Healing
Everybody has the ability to heal himself. When we talk about any feeling, we begin to recall when we felt it. Sometimes it's a situation that we remember or sometimes the reason for it. I think the best thing you can do as a human being is feel. Behind each act of us there is a feeling that impels us and pulls us, it leads us. .

Taking The First Step
Good morning on this glorious Monday. Today is the second Monday of 2021 and it seems like we are on a fast track straight to hell. 2020 was bad enough and the road ahead looks dark. Just because the world is going crazy does not mean we have to lose ourselves or lose hope. I am sure we all made New Year’s resolutions and by now we have abandoned most of them. That is human nature. We tend to say we will do this and that tomorrow or next week and then we slip up and we put it off again or abandon those goals all together. I recently did a podcast episode about focusing on just one goal. That one goal that will ultimately lead to other goals coming into fruition naturally. My goal is just making sure I exercise every day. I know for me if I exercise every day, I will automatically eat better. I am not putting in all of that work for nothing. Treadmills are great for burning calories and keeping active, but I don’t want my goals to be on a treadmill. I am automatically going to feel better if I am exercising and eating better and I will find myself making other improvements and being a lot more productive in other areas of my life without even thinking about it. By focusing on exercising every day, my entire life will probably change for the better.

Upcycled life
Insanity is the tone I’ve been living, in case you did not know the definition of insanity. Repeatedly doing the same thing or action expecting a different outcome. Story of my life. After a year like 2020 I’m ready for anything else. 2021 will be different I know that’s what I always say and I am never wrong or right. It’s time to upcycle my life. So this time around a lot less yes, alot more no, well given the situation of course. Trying new things loving life unconditionally and live with purpose. I’ve narrowed it down on the things I need to change in my life and here is a list of them.

Goal Setting Game-Changer
After that hot mess of a year we call 2020, it may be hard to wrap your head around goal setting for this year. I mean, we ALL started last year with BIG PLANS, and now look at us. Mid-year we were giving each other leeway and passes. I know I said to a friend more than once “It’s ok, this year is a shit-show!” Mentally, a lot of us were off our game.

Focusing on Yours Truly
For some background context, I've had a very complicated on and off relationship with my mental health for about the past decade. And for most people, 2020 hit really hard. As an introvert, the months of quarantine were probably the best months of my life. I spent almost everyday taking some quiet time for myself. I got to read and/or write every day. And most importantly, I got the chance to focus on my mental health. My stress was at all time lows if not non-existence.

The Day The Light Came On
In the midst of a world full of chaos, I was falling behind all the smoke. This life hasn't been quite that fair, but it gives me no reason to be bitter I swear. I see how darkness can consume a light hearted mind, as well as dig a hole in a whole hearted soul. A few walks around the bend I found a sort of gentleman who seemed to not see the pain in the midst of all the chaos. I asked him how he sees the world, and why he wasn't at war inside his mind. I thought that maybe this man was blind, but he could see, he just chose to be happy in this world full of misery. He doesn't care what people think, he seemed to be a bit unclean. He lives inside a hole most likely, at least who could be so happy? For the people who walked past, they scoffed at him and laughed. He may just be a bit dull, or maybe he just found a way to be full. I asked him if he needed help, he said he was fine. He then turned to me to say, " hey you seem a bit gray." I was just having a normal day, but it seems I did feel this way. A bit of pain in my life, a passerby who was not shy. To ask me a stranger of all things, how I could be so unhappy. Unhappy? Me? I'm sure you can't be this full of glee. He then said to me," how can you not see the beauty?" "Where?" I asked. "the beauty of the trees, and that of the bees in Belize." What on earth this strange man is to say he can see bees in Belize. "We aren't in Belize, there are no trees, were in the city full of chemical debris." I said with a scoff, an awful scoff. He said to me, " why can't you see the bees in Belize?" I told him I'm not crazy and that is why. He still kept trying to make me see those darn bees in Belize. I stopped him there and told him I could no longer share an explanation as to why there are no trees and how I just can not see those bees in Belize. I walked away into my shade, he followed me under the tree. He spoke to me and said, " I'm happy because I do belive this photo has the picture of the bees in Belize." He continued," I know you could not see these bees, because these are bees in Belize." He went on to tell me a story," These bees are pretty neat you see, they give happy memories." " I do not try to be happy I am happy, because I have seen these bees in Belize, I wanted someone to share this with, and you were the first person to speak to me about the things that I can see." He seemed so crazy at the start, that I had realized he was just full of heart. A soul not yet dampened by the sad things. He lived a life that was so free, this stranger who was so nice to me helped me see some greenery. Above me was a tree, all that I could see was the skyscrapers and painted streets. The light was gone, but now I see that kindness isn't quite lost at sea. This stranger could have been mean, but instead he shared a thing with me, a cherished memory, his trip where he saw the bees in the trees in Belize.

The Age of Perfection
You’re scrolling through TikTok, and you come across the ever-so-familiar glow up video. You’re watching as they grow up and then come to the end of the video. Disappointment strikes. You don’t see the makeup. The abs. The weight loss. You see a normal human being not looking abnormally pretty. You wonder,” Where’s the glow-up?’’
