It is a well proven fact that, even if a person could spare five to ten minutes to deep breathing and meditation, he could experience a vast change. Sit cross-legged and then close your eyes, free your mind and pay your attention to your breath. Breathe in and out, full cycle, and pause for a short time midway.

It helps you, and is as easy as helping: It could lower your heart rate, your blood pressure, and brings a sense of serenity. Meditation guided could also be recommended especially for first-timers: these are found in numerous applications.

3. Sad = Exercise

Feeling sad? Get moving. Some of the specific benefits include getting out of sadness through engaging in physical activities. During the course of any exercise, the body releases endorphin, the body’s natural feel good hormone that relieve symptoms of sorrow and depression.

A simple power walk, jog, spinning session or even a dance class will do the trick; Exercise has been linked to helping boost your mood with just the first few minutes of any form of exercise. That is why key officials do not have to exhaust themselves exercising but even a slight exercising can change situation tremendously.

It’s important to remember that it will not be just one session of exercise that provides significant impacts, but, rather, a consistent level of exercising will finally improve mood and mental health of the patient in the long-term period.

4. Stressed = Go for a Walk

Stress comes at us like a raging bull; however, taking a walk could be the solution for it. Various studies have indicated that walking, especially in natural surroundings, can effectively help in reducing stress and enhancing the quality of mental health.

If you feel that something is bothering you at work, you can go for a walk outside and get some fresh air to clear your head and think about what is troubling you. Try to get in at least 20, and if possible prefer a place with trees. The process of walking also acts as a monotonous motion activity which is capable of having a calming influence on the former’s mind.

5. Burn Out = Read

Procrastination takes its toll in productivity after a while and this is usually a cue to take a break and one of the best pastimes is reading. Immerse yourself in a book— be it a novel, biography, or a journey into self-help.

It can help to offer a break from what is often considered as the ‘real world’ by providing an opportunity to become involved with another world or conceptual viewpoint different from one’s own.

It also can help to offer a mental exercise and a creativity, and get a rest from the physical fatigue. Picking an area that would trigger your interest and make you relax, at least for a few minutes.
