Why are We Still Romantasizing Normal?
The trouble with normal You hear it too, right? The sweet, sweet sound of normal calling us? Or, if you don’t hear it, can you feel it? The pull to shore up the societal guardrails, hide the mess, and pretend we’re done with the work we needed to do? Brush the dust from our hands and return to our previously scheduled programming?

"City" minds and climate change.
Ban city minds from governing all of us. Enforcing change to rural ways to satisfy urban idealism. Random Observation-Opinion with out verifiable data--- people with “city” minds (not necessarily location of birth) do not make good travellers, because a good traveller leaves no footprint and city minds are so insecure they have to make sure everyone knows they exist and so they have to leave markers to show they have been there.

Fierce
Someone once told me that an old Turkish curse was to wish someone “interesting times.“ Someone also penned, and I forget who, that the world is robust but we are not. That we do not need to save the planet for she will survive in whatever form she does, that it’s us who need saving because we, as a species, will not.

I Have Covid: Day One
Well, it has finally got me. I thought I had lasted longer than my luck should have held out. But in all honestly, I hardly ever left the house until recently unless absolutely necessary. Then tonight, when I went to pick my husband up from the train station, I began to feel rotten. Sore, achy bones and muscles. Shivers and inability to get warm; Not to mention the dry, achy eyes and lips. I came home and told hubby I would lay down that it had been a long day.

I Had A Heart Attack - Part 2
I spent all of today as a patient at one of the cardiac hospitals in Vancouver. As anyone who has spent time in the diagnostic part of a hospital knows, it is "hurry up and wait." Note: If you want to read Part 1 first, click here.

5 Reasons Getting A Breakthrough Case SUCKS
Like a lot of people in education, I’m used to being around germs. It’s literally my job to gather several dozen grubby teenagers in a small room, shut the door, and encourage everyone to get close to each other and open their mouths.
