Life Lately
HELLO. Yes I know, it's been a hot minute. I've been distracted by so many things lately. Mainly by Grey's, though. I'm totally hooked (and also just a ball of emotions!). I've never cried so much in my entire life. And I'm not a crier, if that makes any sense. Anyone else?

Perspective
Every day is a new chapter full of characters, challenges, curiosity, and adventure. But as we write this book, the pencil gets smaller and smaller. Some of us create with longer utensils, while some of us do not, but we aren't in control of this. What we are in control of is how we take care of our pencil and what we tell it to write. If you were to look back on your story, would it be one worth reading? Regardless of your response, know that reading this means your heart is still beating. The truth is we're all dying as our pencil gets smaller and smaller, but how many of us have truly lived? You are the author of your life, the creator and the destroyer of ideas, the living and the dying.

My Right to Become Fabulous at Fifty
Are we ever in control of our own destiny? I am in my fifties and at one time I thought that I had my life all planned out. No husband, no children, I was going to do as much traveling as possible and I was going to work as hard as I could so that I could retire by the time I was thirty. A wise woman once told me that, "PLANS CHANGE" and boy, did they ever. Thinking back, when did it all really change for me? I would have to say that every ten-year milestone had some impact on my life choices. It is how I decided to handle those choices that make me the person that I turned out to be.

Plant Based Lifestyle–One Year Later
One year ago today, I embarked on a journey that has totally changed my life. After suffering in pain for 21 years after a car accident, and finding no relief through conventional medicine, I sought alternative methods. I asked the Divine for help. I was using a cane and a wheelchair seemed to be in my near future. I knew I had a trip to Italy coming up in 11-12 months. Something had to shift.

The Changing Face of Plastic Surgery
The decision to get plastic surgery is a deeply personal one. While an entertainer may see cosmetic surgery as a vital career move, others may see it as a necessity. Some, like the maturing Botox generation, want to effectively delay the signs of aging, some want a more exotic look, and some may even have surgeryfor amusement or on a whim.
