What is Dressler’s Syndrome? Dressler’s syndrome is a kind of pericarditis. Pericarditis is a condition in which the sac around the heart gets inflamed. This sac is known as the pericardium and has two layers that are separated from each other with fluid. The inflammation of the pericardium causes it to rub against the heart and eventually result in chest pain. Also, the excess fluid between the layers of the pericardium can build up that may cause pressure on the heart.

I mean, wouldn't it be nice to wave a magic wand, push a button or perhaps even take a pill and the pounds just melt away effortlessly? Sounds like something in Peter Pan's ""Never-Never Land"!
Alex HardawayPublished 3 years ago in LongevityThe Year of the Brain. A letter to the New Year.
Dear New Year, We finally meet! This meeting has been hard-won. The last year did its darndest to keep us apart. From an extended hospital stay, with my one year old baby in the midst of a global pandemic to a news cycle dominated by social injustice and people who looked like me getting killed in the streets or even in their homes; I was justly unsure. Some of my loved ones and loved ones of my friends, sadly, will never meet you as yesteryear has stolen them from us; along with 3.2 million others. What a ghastly number to see in black and white!

I like to think that I am a fairly optimistic person. Things are not always glitter & unicorns, but I believe my life to be pretty magical! I could not be more blessed. Period! The husband, the family (including the very loved & missed, girls), and the friends that He has provided me, they are all one-of-a-kind & I love them all so very much!
