Global Markets Are In Free Fall!! What Is Driving This Correction? Panic Or End Of Easy Money?
The global markets are in “free fall” with most indices down by more than a percentage point. As of now, the Sensex has crashed by almost 1500 points and it looks to extend the losses by the end of the day, today. The Nifty too has breached its “psychological” level of 1650, leaving many traders worried about this market crash. Though the Indian markets have been tracking the falls in the broader global indices, nonetheless, this selloff comes at a time of heightened anxiety about the global economy and concerns about the Omicron variant “scuttling” the fragile recovery underway. Moreover, investors are also keen to offload and book losses, which means that today’s bloodbath is a correction, rather than a panic response. However, I would not be too sanguine about the prospects for markets going forward, due to the many converging factors that have created a Perfect Storm that would continue to rattle the economies worldwide.

A Million Excuses
Abstract Procrastination is a form of self sabotage. I often find myself at an unexplained standstill that feels very negligent of the tasks I have before me. In my time spent in this productivity limbo, there seems to be an un-quantifiable amount of excuses one can come up with as “reasons” to not take the steps necessary to move forward. For the reader who finds themselves normally wrestling with anxiety at the idea of starting a new project or a new life chapter, this study is to help us. It is my intention in this study to rid us (you, the reader, and myself) of as many of the bullshit excuses as possible. In doing so, I plan to use my personal observations as a whole to also identify what it is that plagues and hinders my growth.

Hello My Name Is Antonio Westley
Coming from humble beginnings, I'd like to say that it's great to finally another place online where both readers and writers can enjoy themselves. It's not every day that creativity gets rewarded online, regardless how that may be defined. This platform seems to embrace that wholeheartedly and I for one (in my own form of expression) - am here for it.

Things I've Learnt Since 2020
2020 seemed like decades ago now.....Cause we've all changed alot, our lives, friends, family, work, everything... am I right!? Well before 2020, I ended up in the ER with an open hand surgery on Christmas Eve of 2019, then following I was on bed rest for two weeks. Then let's just say that nasty word happened that is all over the news and still disrupts our daily lives....I'm over the whole situation and just don't want to simply let it drain my energy anymore. I think sometimes the best thing is to take back your own power, do your own thing, live the damn best life possible.

Defeating the “Don’t Look Up” Mentality in the Corporate World
The movie of this holiday season didn’t turn out to be yet another reboot of The Matrix or one more Spiderman sequel. It didn’t turn out to be the next Disney animated musical made for young and old alike. No, the film that generated the most buzz wasn’t even a movie that you had to go to a movie theater to see (and yes, your local multiplex may well be on its way to extinction quite soon because of a whole host of factors!). Instead, the movie that has everyone watching and many folks talking about it on social media is a cheery flick, “Don’t Look Up!” It has all the ingredients for what we used to term “box office success” - a fantastic team behind it (led by director and writer Adam McKay, who has given us “The Big Short” and a whole host of other films in recent years), a star-studded cast (including Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, Jonah Hill, Tyler Perry, Mark Rylance, Ariana Grande and more) to rival those old “buddy movies” of the 1970’s and 80’s, and yes, an uplifting, “feel good” plot - where the entire planet’s population is wiped out!
