The Abandoned Cabin of Death
The cabin in the woods had been abandoned for years, but one night, a candle burned in the window. You could see the darkened windows blackened by dust. Imaginations of the locals began swirling whether it was a ghost, paranormal activity, occult worship or squatters. You could hear the whispers saying that the candle would only come on at night to welcome one soul to the cabin. But then that person was never heard from again. Imaginations, loneliness or desperation wanting to allow them to be free from their miserable existence.

Behind Every Strong Woman There's a Good Man
You know that classic story, behind every successful man is a good woman. Well in my case behind every Strong Woman is a Good Man. In this case it's my father, he's my rock and I go for additional support. Every girl needs that man that shows her how a man is supposed to treat a woman. Growing up I was extremely sensitive, I was hurt easily by others actions and it really took a toll on me. I was lucky, I had an amazing father with a heart of gold. When I was hurt or upset he knew what to say or to do to make the hurtful words or actions of others go away.

I am My Ancestor's Dream
To My Indigenous Ancestors the survivors of Genocide, this story is for you. Not long ago, I was a "Colonized" Indigenous Woman. I was dying my hair blonde, wearing and acting against my own culture. Not intentionally of course, just going along with societal norms and trends. Ignoring the calling of my own culture and identity. During that process of dying my hair blonde, and washing away everything that made me different. Why? In attempts to fit in with "Society's Standards". The Barbie look, blonde hair, blue eyes and dimples. Oh how naive I was.

My Family - My Dog
Growing up in a small town in the middle of the MidWest of Canada, was interesting. Let's say that.....7 liquor stores and 7 churches. Everyone watched the same Soap Opera's and shopped at the same clothing stores; Mondetta, Club Monaco and Guess. I didn't follow the trend. I wasn't the type to follow the "crowd"...they always seemed to have their own personal agenda to push when you did become friends with them. I didn't really mesh with anyone, I thought a lot of it was real so I stayed focused on my life and my gifts and talents.

The Summer Adventure
I love when the snow starts to melt in the springtime. It signals the change of the season, and the sunny possibilities that are coming into my day to day life. Something about the longer day, warmer temperatures and less layers just screams excitement. I mean what isn't there to love ?? I guess my favorite part would be the warmer temperatures at night, since I preferred to walk outside at nighttime and look up at the stars and moon.

My New Year's Resolution.....Sleeping
As a Mother, Model, Author and Businesswoman it's the one thing that is key to keeping me sane. I know in 2022.....that word isn't so familiar. But I have made Sleeping.....my New Year's Resolution. Why??? Simple. A lack of sleep can cause weight gain, premature wrinkling, irreversible brain damage, and so much more! Plus, why would I spend all that money on the luxury satin bed sheets to help keep my hair smooth and face clear? Just to not enjoy it...Since I currently have more time on my hands, I have re-decorated my room to feel more comfortable and calming. More "cozy" and relaxing to me.

Things I've Learnt Since 2020
2020 seemed like decades ago now.....Cause we've all changed alot, our lives, friends, family, work, everything... am I right!? Well before 2020, I ended up in the ER with an open hand surgery on Christmas Eve of 2019, then following I was on bed rest for two weeks. Then let's just say that nasty word happened that is all over the news and still disrupts our daily lives....I'm over the whole situation and just don't want to simply let it drain my energy anymore. I think sometimes the best thing is to take back your own power, do your own thing, live the damn best life possible.

You can't Hurt Me I lost Someone I Didn't Even Get to Say Goodbye too.
Throughout my young life I decided at a young age I would be driven, ambitious and an overachiever. I wanted to get alot done when I was young so, I guess that it was done and out of the way. Maybe, I felt pressure from my parents as they were older and the fact was I wanted them to see me accomplish a lot throughout their lifetimes. I wanted them to be in awe of how wonderful and driven their daughter was. When I look at my life now and some of the things I have accomplished, I am definitely proud of myself and my hard work.

Canada is a Hockey Culture
When you hear the word Canadian what words come to mind ? Winter, Tim Horton's and definitely HOCKEY. Hockey is the one pastime that most Canadians have a story about. They either grew up with a guy who played hockey, they played hockey or they dated a hockey player. Whatever the story was, it's the one thing that united all Canadians together. It was a familiarity and even a comfortable place where everyone forgot their differences and got together to cheer for a game.

The Bull on Wall Street
DEFINITION of The Charging Bull.....The Charging Bull is a bronze sculpture by artist Arturo Di Modica that stands near Wall Street in Downtown Manhattan. The 7,100 lb charging bull, a forceful allegory of market optimism, has become the symbol of Wall Street and the Financial District and one of the most popular tourist attractions in New York City.

Green Means Go
As the sun rose that afternoon she was happy, today was the day she got to spend the whole day at the racetrack with her friends. The day where There was nothing better in the world then the sound of race cars going around on the track. The smell of the smoke coming up from the track as the cars circled around, tires screeching, fans yelling and the feeling of pure adrenaline in the air. It made her feel alive, happy and a source of freedom. There would be all of the familiar faces that she had recognized and her special friends. It would be a day filled with magic, laughs, and enjoyment.
