Once a cheater always a cheater - the controversy behind it.

Ah, "Friends" one of the most popular television shows from 1994 to 2004 created by producers David Crane and Martha Kauffman. Six people, 3 girls and 3 guys from New York City who share their everyday life in love, in lust, in laughter, and sadness. The many emotions and events they share daily. Hey, and I can happily say that I have watched the re-runs over 10 times from season 1 to season 10 and each and every time I enjoy every second of it!

There's Ross Gellar a paleontologist who is very insecure and a bit self-centered. He is super sweet most times which certainly balances him out with the ladies.

The ladies' man Joey Tribbiani. But somewhat of a womanizer who struggles to keep his acting career in the light. He isn't the brightest bulb but he is a very loyal friend.

Miss Chanandler Bong. I mean Chandler Bing of course! Just to clear things up he is not a, "transponster" as Rachel thought, because that's not even a word! He is a data processor. He is very sweet, insecure, and has a sarcastic comment to almost every single thing.

There's Phoebe Buffay a very strange yet very interesting masseuse who plays guitar on her free time. She is very sweet and flaky. We love it!

Monica Gellar she's competitive, she's loud, she's controlling, and she's a wonderful chef. She will cook the best Thanksgiving dinner and will serve it to you hot and ready just as long as you are ON TIME!

Princess Rachel Green who wants to be a hat, you know metaphorically speaking. She left her wealthy life to be, "normal." She's sweet and career oriented. She certainly knows what she wants and what she does not want. Just read her 18-page letter - FRONT AND BACK!

Now after that brief introduction, here's what we really want to know… Was Ross and Rachel really on a break!? YES, and possibly NO.

I say YES! Ross and Rachel were really on a break! Come on now, let's be serious here, "a break from us" means SPACE; time apart! A, "break-up" clearly means to break up, to separate, to be able to see other people. She never actually said, "I am breaking up with you."

Granted, in my opinion they both should have been clearer about the whole situation, but who is really thinking about ground rules at that very moment. I mean, if Ross didn't assume and run off quickly Rachel might have been clearer, who knows. And if Rachel would have steered Mark away before he took it upon himself to come over her place with Chinese food then Ross probably wouldn't have stayed at the bar after he heard Mark in the background while talking to Rachel on the phone.

Here's why it could possibly be NO. Although, Rachel didn't quite say she was breaking up with Ross she wasn't clear about it. And if it was just, "a break" then why did she ask if she could be his girlfriend again when she met with him at his apartment the next morning? Hmm… I can slightly understand that. But still don't think it's solid.

At the end of the day, it is absolutely messed up and super disrespectful to go ahead and sleep with another person just hours after believing you just got dumped by, "your one true love." Come on now! It's horrible, imagine how Rachel felt when she found out. Even so, you clearly knew it was wrong Ross! You should have just gone back home! Ah, I guess we could all learn from Ross and Rachel.

Break or no break I say it is more about communication and morals. We always need both!

Communication is key! Relationships are tough as it is, imagine having to try and read someone's mind in order to get the answers and solutions needed to fix your problems. It is impossible! Be clear with your wants and needs, and always talk things out before you make irrational decisions that may make the situation worse. Love is real and it isn't love that's hard to maintain it's the focus on keeping it alive and thriving. It takes two to make it shine and two to dim its light. Ross and Rachel aren't the ideal couple because of their undying love for each other, they are the ideal couple because of their real-life struggles in love that let us know that no relationship is perfect!
