love
All you need is Love, and Love is all you need.
True Love Exists
I pretty much had given up on looking for love. My son has special needs and his father cheated me. Not only did he cheat on me physically, he was flirting with other women even though he begged me to come back to our home after a year of being separated. By the Fall of that year instead of focusing on mending our relationship he was cheating on me and sending other woman flowers. We broke up but since we had a child together, for me it was difficult to not keep trying. We were still very much interacting and hanging out, although unbenounced to me he was already dating the woman he had been sending flowers to. Of course, he didn’t tell me that. I even asked him several times if he was seeing anyone. Well then about a year later, she got pregnant and I guess he couldn’t hide it anymore.

The Lost Princess of Egypt
We all have plans, wishes and expectations of how people will act or how an event, our day and our lives will turn out. Unfortunately, things don't always work out as we hope. Too often, things seem to twist and turn in ways we did not expect or foresee.

Love Lift Us Up
Vocal – ‘Behind the Beat’ The song that changed my life, a story of true love: Love lift Us Up... Homelessness, heartbreak, addiction, danger, vengeance and uncertainty was the soup of difficulty that I was facing at the time. I found myself once again taken in by Will, an individual I would describe as an old perverted misanthropic conspiracy theorist that looked a cross between a stock broker with his collared business shirt and a hippie in his stupid rainbow colored pajama trousers. Will, better known as Bongo Will, the anomaly, took in wayward travelers at his house in Ecuador. I was offered a place to stay outside in the backyard, because apparently the last time I stayed I didn’t ‘do so well at the house’. I had just broken up with my ex girlfriend, a Borderline Personality Disordered girl from Georgia in the U.S.A, in what I would call a climatic and dramatic end to a month long spiral of ‘love’ and chaos involving sex, stalking, cocaine, crime, hallucinogenic cactus, violence and betrayal. I spent a month after that ordeal meditating, resting and detoxing outside in Will’s yard next to his fire pit out the back. He told me not to use all his logs. I ate up every last one.

A Forever Rose
A forever rose. Love has no secrets for it's passion that's fiercely burning inside of us. Love is the way we can look in each other's eyes gazing into those beautiful hues that sparkle like the little stars above us. Those eyes that see the true heart of a person never wanting to stop gazing at them. When your heart throbbing in your chest because the slightest look they gave you feels like a million butterflies flying away into the sunset.

Love is Love?
Lately, I keep hearing something from the left: love is love. I actually agree in their sentiment; I could care less about homosexuality, bisexuality or any of it. I want people to find happiness, and if a man finds happiness in a man, or a woman finds happiness in a woman, it's no skin off my nose. Yes, I'm fairly centrist when it comes to homosexuality. I could care less who people marry, as long as they are marrying the person who makes them happy.

Don't forget to love yourself
I recently stumbled upon a video on YouTube called 'The Last' by Wong Fu Productions. It's a must watch! In it, a man describes to his current girlfriend, the loves of his life. He states that there are five, each falling under Who?, What?, When? Where? and Why?

Flapping For Freedom
As I crept slowly along the riverbank, I noticed two geese that seemed to be involved in a conversation. Awed by their posture, I decided to take photos of them with my phone. In less than sixty seconds, I took three pictures as one of them flapped its wings. Satisfied with my accomplishment, I continued my quiet walk.
