My Easter Story
I grew up going to church, was Christened at 4 months old and went to both a Church of England (C of E) primary and secondary school. I relatively accepted ‘God’, but was always very inquisitive about the ‘how’ of it all. How was I supposed to interact with God and live as a believer? What did that look like for my day-to-day life as well as the bigger picture?

Worldwide Friendship
For as long as I've been going away from home, adventuring about the UK and the broader world, friendship has followed me. The kindness of strangers who become friends, and friends who'll be strange with you when the delirium of travelling sets in, is an absolute necessity to making the most of being away and getting to know the places you visit.

Three Peaks of the UK - Top Tips
He's the man that was there when I took my first steps, and still teases me over the fact I took my time trying to walk, watching the other kids fail before getting it right myself in very few goes. He's watched me walk across the stage at two graduations, and one day he'll walk me down the aisle.

World, play it again
"If music be the food of love, play on" - Duke Orsino to his court in regards the fair Olivia at the very beginning of Twelfth Night. I'm not a huge Shakespeare fan, it must be said, but that is without a doubt one of my favourite lines of literature. I envision including it in my wedding, maybe as a banner across the head table during the sit down meal.

How the woman who always has a holiday booked is coping
The effects of this current situation, what it actually is really settled on me this week. I say 'settled on me' because I haven't for a second felt surprised by any of it, I have an understanding of what's happening and why, but a few things happened this week that brought the sadness of it all to me a bit.
