You’ve caused me to learn that most people are a paragraph in my life. Some people have a whole chapter while other’s maybe only get a sentence, but either way it’s not a forever thing. Pain arrives when I miscategorized these relationships, but that’s still something I’m trying to work through. I’ve realized there is life after breakups. Life might slow down a little bit so, thoughts and emotions can get gathered, but there’s still a life to live.

A "Friend" From College
We spend a variation of four years of our lives in a place surrounded by several different kinds of people, most around the same age. This we call college. We find different ways to make friends by having roommates, trying new classes, joining clubs, a brief whirlwind time in a sorority in my case. Nonetheless we surround ourselves with similar and familiar people for years. Take My Heart With You
Her toes were tucked underneath the sofa cushions, and she was only wearing underpants and a pajama top. Her face was pressed against the floor, and even after I walked over and shook her a few times, there was no response. I reached down and took her hand, and that's when I noticed her knuckles were turning blue. A cold, empty feeling washed over me, a feeling that couldn't be shaken, and a fear that was very real. My friend and roommate of six years had passed away in my living room in the middle of the night.
