Spiritual Steps
Cultural Steps of Genealogy Embedded Throughout World Charms
If you follow my stories and articles on Medium or Vocal you have noticed the occasional interview of Artists (visual, musicians, and more upcoming) and Spiritualists. My theme is to honor the creatives and the spiritual, to recognize their efforts and place in the world.
I have many valid theories for this: self-expression being healthy, aesthetics making healthy environments, meaning for cities, living. Intelligence also stems from creativity and that point is sadly neglected. The theme also nourishes cultures wherever we are in the melting pot of Canada. That is my introduction to my Interview Series. I will, from time to time, highlight aspects of the theme.
Getting to the spiritual in life and society. What is a Shaman, A Witch, A Seer, Psychic, Medium, Saint, Guru, Priest, Nun, or Minister? What are these, and why do they matter for whole living? What is their purpose in terms of relationships and world value?
All share a unique perspective. That originality matters—the same as an artist does. For the Spiritualist, the scope of life is an enormous weight that needs to be lifted. Human beings improve with grace through altruistic arts, knowledge, and function.
Populations dividing, procreation continuing. The advance of time is the weight lifter. The spiritual form given at birth is prescribed. A bigger force than us gives the reasoning.
Spiritual awakening as a source to a new meaning. As a means to understanding the soul. These are precepts, sacred and shared also by different faiths within their own way of knowing.
These are the brands: consciousness, mind, eternal matters, nature, and religion. What walls divide them? None. Beliefs reside between them, but each has its mirror to the course of life. Each has a manner of giving that is their own, shaped by their soul.
How can any of this be wrong? What point to expression would there be if it was?
How can a person's life calling be wrong, and who can anyone judge them for it? Does an engineer face diversity going to work? Therefore, does a teacher, does a farmer? Then leave the spiritualists alone. They are one set of society that gets the brunt of criticism. Spiritual equality is just as important in this day and age as any right.
No matter our faith, each of us is flowers reaching to the light, enlightenment. As we take those steps through life, we tread lightly through rich diversity and wonder gardens. Our genealogy shapes our footprints. Our brightest charm is our minds.
This series that introduces the spiritual and the creatives to the world is to commend their relationship with humanity. They're real, they matter, and these individuals, artists, and spiritualists will always be part of the planet, the human race.
So behold. Here are those individuals in a series, not marginalized, not outsiders but part of your sphere. In your worlds. Communities, schools. Take the time to get to know one. No one is going to bite you.
