Riding through Tears

Shahid had always been a kind-hearted person. He loved helping others and had a passion for making a positive impact on the world. It was this passion that led him to start his YouTube channel, where he interviewed poor children and helped them by sharing their stories and giving them a platform to be heard.

Life was going well for Shahid. He was engaged to a woman whose family had agreed to the marriage, and they were set to get married in a month. They talked and chatted on the phone regularly, and Shahid was looking forward to starting a new life with her.

But one day, everything changed. Shahid felt a sharp pain in his abdomen and went to see a doctor. After an examination, the doctor delivered the devastating news - he had prostate cancer, and it was 50% treatable. Shahid was heartbroken. He didn't know what to do or how to cope with the news. With tears in his eyes, he got into a cab to go home and texted his future wife about his diagnosis. The response he received shattered his heart - she was sorry, but she would not marry him.

The day of Shahid's cancer operation arrived, and he was afraid for his life. He said goodbye to Safika and went into the operating theatre. The surgery was successful, and the next morning, Shahid slowly opened his eyes. He saw that he was in a private room with no one around, except for a flower and a card next to his bed. He took the card and read "I am with you" by Safika. He smiled and felt relieved, knowing that she was thinking of him.

He spent the next seven days in that private room, receiving cards from Safika every day, filled with love and encouragement. Finally, on the eighth day, she was allowed to see him. Instead of a card, she was next to him in bed when he opened his eyes. He was overjoyed and kissed her forehead with happiness.

Over the next few months, Shahid recovered from his surgery and went through chemotherapy. Safika was by his side every step of the way, providing him with love and support when he needed it most. He realized that she was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.

One day, when Shahid was feeling better, he took Safika to a beautiful park and proposed to her. She said yes, and they hugged each other tightly, feeling the warmth of love enveloping them.

Shahid and Safika got married in a small ceremony, with only close friends and family in attendance. They promised to love and support each other for the rest of their lives. Shahid continued to make videos for his YouTube channel, but now Safika was always by his side, helping
