First Date: Mike's Journey to Love

Mike was a college boy, studying hard and working towards a brighter future. However, deep down, there was a regret that haunted him from his school days. He had always loved a girl from afar, but fear held him back from expressing his feelings. He graduated from high school, leaving his unrequited love behind, but the memory of her lingered.

When he joined college, he met a girl in his class who was kind and friendly, and they soon became close friends. They spent all their time together, sharing everything about their lives. One day, she confided in him about a problem she was facing, and Mike supported her through it. It was then that he realized that he had fallen in love with her.

Mike became desperate to tell her how he felt, afraid that he would once again let his fear hold him back. He decided to confess his love on her birthday and bought her a pair of shoes as a gift. When he gave her the shoes, he couldn't bring himself to say the words. The next day, he saw her in a coffee shop and finally told her how he felt. She smiled at him but didn't reply. The following day, he asked her if she loved him, and she said that she liked him but couldn't love him due to her family situation. They decided to remain friends, but Mike hoped for more.

As the days passed, they grew closer, and February arrived with Valentine's Day just around the corner. Mike was busy with his sister's engagement, but he still made time for his love. On Valentine's Day, they coincidentally wore matching outfits of white with red, and it seemed like fate was on their side.

After Valentine's Day, Mike worked up the courage to ask her on a date, fully expecting her to say no. However, to his surprise, she said yes, and they decided to go to the mall. They arrived early, and most of the shops were closed, so they decided to watch a movie at the theater.

Mike tried to book the early show, but it was sold out, and they had to wait an hour. They sat on a bench, holding hands, and talking about their hopes and dreams. It was a chilly day, and when they finally got inside the theater, it was freezing. Mike hold her hand, trying to warm her up, and as the movie started, she began to cry. Mike comforted her, and before he knew it, she was lying on his shoulder.

The movie was emotional, and as it ended, they left the theater, still holding hands, and walked around the mall. They talked about the movie and everything else under the sun. When they parted ways, she left with a smile on her face, and Mike was so happy about it.

Mike's first date was everything he had hoped for and more. He had gone out with the girl he loved, and she had even laid her head on his shoulder. He felt like he was on top of the world and couldn't wait to see where their relationship would go next

Mike didn't know what the future held for him, but he knew he was happy in that moment. He had finally gone on a date with the girl he loved, and he knew he would cherish the memory forever. The regret of his school days faded away, and he felt redeemed for taking the chance on love.
