"Out of Suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive character are seared with scars" - Kahlil Gibran

The first time I came across this quote I was watching Criminal Minds and the quote stayed in my mind, For years my wondering mind couldn't stop thinking of the quote, I couldn't stop thinking of the power of pain.

When we watch fairytale movies we just see villains and heroes but do we ever wonder what made villains be villains? What made them choose that path?

Pain has the power to make us and to break us, pain changes us either to be good or evil, The strongest souls don't just emerge, something happened that made them that strong.

Let us assess this quote from the point of villains and heroes,

We all hate villains, but they were also once kids like all of us, pure and kind but one day they just went pure evil and do we ever wonder what happened for a person to be this evil or to be this wicked? There is a quote that says "It takes a village to groom a child", while I say "It also takes a village to destroy a child." What if these villains were once pure and innoncent and instead of love and kindness they received hate, bullying, rejection, and abuse?

ohhh blah blah, some hereos also went through the same thing, while you are right! Then what is my point?

The power of healing! What makes hereos, to be hereos, is they decieded to heal and forgive, they let go of the pain, they used their pain to help humanity instead of destroying it, though they were destroyed they decided to use their pain and suffering to heal and build others and refused to bring the same pain to others, their massive characters is they became hereos, almost every hero has a huge scar.

The power of anger! What makes villains to be villains is their anger and unforgiveness, they refused to let go of their pain and believe if they went through it then everyone else must go through it, after all they were also taught cruelty. They took their pain and turned it into a weapon of chaos, and destruction to humanity, avenging themselves to try and cover their scars, Their massive character is being villains and like hereos, they also have a huge scar they are trying to cover.

Now what does that tell us about humanity? Our pain can determine our tomorrow!

Also do we blame the villains alone for their character? No the same village it takes to groom a child is the same village it takes to destroy one, those who caused the suffering and pain also had a role to play in the individual turning to a villain.

Now what does that tell us, treating people with kindness is not just for your own benefit but is also for the benefit of others, to show them there is still good in the world, be the light that someone can one day say the only reason I decided to be a hero it is because of so and so showed me there is still good in the world and that good is worth fighting for. We all have a role to play in the outcomes of humanity!

Beyond the suffering and the pain there is more, choose wisely, because thats where the battle between good and evil in all of us starts!

Have a lovely day readers and writers, and I hope this peace of reading brightens up your day.
